When I write bad, I mean that in all ways. How we're losing the war; how bad things are; how bad the media is; how bad world would be without the media; how you're following everything we say ...
Bad journalism, all around. Newsweek, I don't think so ... Newbleak is more like it.
The National Equirer would be better. At least that's laughable.
Gradually degenerating into ignorance and complacency.

Work with a rocker
He's not there often, but Matt works where I work. He also has a "day job" and plays with this band on the weekends. Believe it or not ... not that you can understand the lyrics, but that's Christian Metal.

Today, I got spanked
There's a woman at work who is 'insisting' that another woman and I start making babies. Well, today she swatted me as she walked by. Now, I could never get away with anything like that, but she did. I would rank the experience as pleasant. She's married, it was for fun, there is no flirtation there.
There is another woman, whom a different woman claims, "Ooo! I think she likes you", as she keeps probing me for my interests and that maybe we could go hiking together. In some of her thoughts -- expressed, she reminds me of X, a major turn off. Who knows what will happen there.

Playful banter
Thankfully, not brought up on charges, "move your buns" I said the other day. I rather forgot myself, but was not recused for my thoughtless statement. It was responded with a smile, as my comment was meant to provoke an action and humor. Thankfully it achieved both.

would smell just as foul
A guy at work smokes these, not swisher sweets, but miniaturized cigars. I don't know what they are other than foul! Take burning leaves, burning tires, burnt underwear from Tex-Mex lunch and Szechwaun snack and south-Indian dinner. Mix that with morning seventeen hour grilled steak and you have -- stink in a stick. This guy smokes them claiming they taste good. Huh. And to think they claim that smoking kills your tatebud sensitivity, eh?
I think carpet-bomb farts of broccoli, onion and cayenne would smell sweeter and better.
I heard the comment of a "these are deadly" chips-eating guy at work, "left a gift over there for you" and he beat a hasty retreat from his A (ss) bomb.
With the general smell of stuff at work, mixed with the foulness of cigarettes, then couple that with over-active intestinal bacteria or plain body function, I almost never eat at work. Imagine that! The water there, as of late, has quite the out-housish aroma. Yum!

Sad note
Without giving details, family has discovered a choice someone made that ruined their desire ... or opportunity. While the decision isn't fatal, it is heart-breaking. I haven't a thing to tell the family, for in my outsider's and perhaps ignorant perspective, I see it as positive. While there is a loss of what never was -- really hope, hope leaving hurts. It was an opportunity and commitment that they no longer have. My sympathies go out to them.

Mrlez
What was the name?
Mrlez.
Dude ... Moralez ... try to say it with me. Come on now, it's your name. Try enunciating the sounds ... ah, yes ... the fifty-cent of the Spanish-speakers. Don't bother pronouncing your family name correctly.
I am surprised still, that people actually carry hundreds. Why carry cash, let alone hundreds? I think they are trying to impress people with money. Well, I'm not. Make it easy on yourself ... pay with card, simple and no change to tote around.

These people
"These people wouldn't care if you gave them them best blowjob in the world", stated a server (waitress) regarding some of the missing tips from jerkwater people. You know ... even if the server is only bringing you glass after glass of drink and moving away the thousands of plates from your bovine eating, you could tip something.
I post this because it was surprising and candid.

working with young people
Late night -- little "real" business happening, but end of the night cleanup and teardown is going on, as typical. The young guys there, high schoolers acting like much younger teens are tagging each other and shooting sprays and water at each other. It's all in good fun and the teasing isn't serious. It's almost refreshing to see the boyish joy in playing at work. Hopefully, if I stay with the cigaretter-ladened conpany, I will be as lax with that as need be. I remember at another place, my command was, "Don't leave anything that I have to explain." If the work was done, well, timely ... I did not care if there was silly play involved.
One guy crashed through the ceiling. That ... I had to explain as something. Guys, don't make me have to explain it. That is my one, and only rule.

"Yeah ... uh, wait. Hold on ... [long pause] Can I get, wait ... what do you have?"
"Do you mean ---"
Interrupting me, "Yeah, I want a (places an order) ... naw, man ... sorry, make that a (change in order). Hold on ... whatchyouwan (shouting to friend over the droning of a TV) ... yeah, what ... okay, and uh, a (places order)."
"Do you want ..."
"Naw man."
I repeat the order.
"Naw ... uh, change that. Gonna pick it up. Hwlg?"
"Alright."
"Man, hol' up. Howung?"
"What's that?"
"How long?"
"Twenty-five minutes."
"Alright ... coo -- " [hangs up before finishing.
The sad thing is ... he's likely to be driving.

Hey folks! It is finally time for you and propane to get re-acquainted. Open the lid ... clean off grime and it is finally, Winter grilling time. The spotty good weather is a perfect time to eat grilled food. Skip all that other stuff. You tongue, nose, and stomach miss the grill. Use it, while you can!

Petty, but I think switching to daylight savings time was stupid. This weekend we all get to lose an hour. That makes sense. Usually people get to have some "fun" before blacking out for an hour. Well, quasi-reality sets in and we all lose an hour. I didn't vote for it, yet we have it.

beyond thought
Driving for so long each way gives me a long time to think. The radio, of little consolation, is a mere white noise in my merry-go-round of thoughts, swirling, twirling, spinning. Sadly, often this well describes dead end or round thinking that has no conclusion. I can, however think about different perspectives -- outside looking in, inside looking through -- there, is inspiration.
Preconsciously and consciously I probe, "what if" qeustions ... all the time. I'm surprised I haven't left the road, as I deeply think sometimes.
What if I started a company: vocational training and placement ... Today I looked online and there is a small glut on the market.
I'm also thinking of training modules for where I work; modifying things to lessen errors; moving things to make things safer; where will I be living in 6 months; new concept for travel ... a useful thought
neon painting the bottom half of poles and posts in parking lots so that plows don't smash them
federally mandated requirement that all Hummers, and later SUVs have at least two passengers at any time during travel, large fine or towing & impounding of vehicle
Permanent denial of suits against cigarette companies (about final anyway), also denial of health claims for smokers -- aka touchet
universal fuel adaptor ...
are crops ready to be set; definition of fergaicious; I'm a CEO (closest this rapper will be to accounting); bills; paid; time off as requested; traffic
in-town burial of wires for safety and beautification
"- HR photo"; Arby's sand [other letters out], what's a horse doing on that sign; diner from Star Wars -- does Mel work there; car dealships -- truly avenue of autos; if a train leaves Boston at 45 mph and another trains leaves London, when will they cross paths; if I had to find a hotel, could I
how many libraries could I use with my address from one county, living in another, working in yet another
which services are available up there -- wireless, highspeed
am I learning?
where should I be working? Can I come up with a WHOLE idea, especially relevant to vocation and a well-suited job?

errors
The exceptions aren't as bad as just plain terrible sloppiness. Add to this, the futility of talking or directing with 15-40 dB ambient noise, varying in locations. So, in a quieter area, you talk as if someone in a mid-noise level can hear you ... not so. My "beef" is sloppiness. I got this type of paper and from that I was to put together my "thing". I made an error. Now, I would normally be angry with myself for a stupid glitch, but here ... it festered all day because I would not attribute it to my fault, but rather in sloppiness. It angered me so.
If you have the time to write, "red, green, yellow, white", don't write, "rd, gn, y, w", for then the reader wonders, "where's the fire" or something like that given to WTF.
....
My second little sore spot:
Welcome to the 21st century ... please don your wooden sandals and begin your freeway travel to your destination. Some of the things there seem almost as schtupid as given NASA abacuses. If there is technology ... use it. The company isn't small. Like any large company it would have buying power. If you want fewer errors ... smaller losses ... improve the system.
Well, you see, I didn't know how to write carburetor, so I wrote, "Car" in it's place. That didn't confuse you did it? So, in the decades of existence ... there are computers there doing things like tabulation ... sales, but as far as ordering ... uh, no. Why use pen and paper? The system for sales has every single thing on it ... right, friggin' there!
We don't like to use the car ... it's scary, so that's why we run along the freeway in our wooden sandals. If they used what they had ... errors would be even smaller. Look, it's one thing to point out, how you come up with figures, and having a system to do it if the computers went down, but hey ... if they are running, use them!
I can understand if I make an error, but errors made on the basis of sloppiness and defiance of technology -- irks me! I'm a fool, but if there's a car, I'll choose it over walking 75 miles in a day. Use what you have.

Cerpicio found a blog
For local info on a project I think is wasteful, the Harrison Square project. I read where a Montessori school was bought for demolition. The school is having trouble finding a location, which is odd, considering the city had to buy the building, right? I saw that they were charging $149 weekly for pre-school and $129 weekly for other ages. That isn't a lot, but that should keep their heads above water.
I am against the project, as I have written before, because another minor league team downtown isn't going to be a draw for tourists. That doesn't give FW a novelty. What FW needs are jobs and a novelty. That site ought to make parking and fireworks right pretty and messy during the festivals. Those putting this together should be dismissed from the project in favor of people who know what people want.
FW, city of churches, restaurants, strip clubs, and two minor league teams, minor league hockey, minor league basketball.
That doesn't sell.

Despite a warning
A woman at work had a, well, watcher ... who seemed quite interested in her. She claimed he was interested in what she was doing ... her work, I contended. Perhaps he liked watching her move, but what she was doing, I doubt he even considered.
Yeah, whatever ... building nuclear bomb ... look at her move!

What is an arse?
"So, what's an arse?"
... (thought) You are, then saying it.
"No, what is an arse?"
You are.
"No, you see it's a joke."
The sad thing, the would-be joke-teller doesn't understand that being an arse isn't funny, but he's the butt end of a great deal of guff, grief and undoubtedly jokes. Jokes can't tell themselves, so that's his paradox.

Back working again
I walked through the cold this morning to get my car. Thankfully the wind was not blowing and it wasn't too cold.
The mechanic stated that on my back brakes, he thought I probably had about 6-15 months of life left on them. Sweet! He did not encourage me to change them at this time, but rather, "get as much life out of them as you can, because when you have to change them you need new drums, and ..."
Now there is a good place! The bill was under $200, they didn't try to oversell and they got it done the same day. I like this place.

Wait
Hmmm, I'm here in FW and my sister and family are in Indy ... sister having surgery. I don't know squat, so here, I sit.
I don't like waiting and prefer knowledge over ignorance, so I sit ... ignorant, waiting, grotesquely unhappy.
Guns 'N' Roses' "Patience" will not quiet my need to know ... as my mind wanders.
God has a plan and I'm arrogant enough to want to know it. It's on a need to know basis and I don't need to know. That doesn't sit well with me.
Debbie, sister "Doodie" as I called you -- she who had been a placebo brother to me ... may your surgery go well, smoothly, time is not a factor.

International check for $4,700
I needed only call a 604 number to activate it and to get the other $45,800. I was bewildered. Why ... what ... whom ... we, what, where, why, wink ...
I was for a grant. Although I filed for a grant ... I got no response, which means, "NO". I got an ESL operator (English was not the person's first, nor best language) who couldn't answer my only question, "why".
"You only need to pay taxes on it ... that's what the check's for. You don't have to spend any of your money."
Okay, but why did I get it. It was like conversing with a radio or Rainman's Ramon. So, why did I get this?
"97X ... BAM! The future of rock and roll."
"I'm definitely not wearing any underwear."
Just answer, "why"!
Uh, oh. Uh, oh.
The call was to British Columbia. The check was from J.P. Morgan Chase in Manhattan, NY.
I manually shredded it and added it to recylcing. May it be recirculated as newspaper.
I could have killed some bills with $50,000, but I think it was a scam.

Late in blogging about devilishly prank

Prince, Superbowl ... you knew it was a bad idea.
There's uproar over prince's penis guitar. While I thought the "devil" appearance was plain ... many folks focussed on the phallic principle. Huh ... I guess I wasn't penis-focussed to see it. I did, however get revolted over the Snickers' gay commercial. Good planning gay flakes! Whomever planned that -- instant canning (ha), fired. Was this trip really necessary?
Prince, devil ... bi-sexual nut. Why choose him, because Michael Jackson wasn't available, apparently. You wonder why people think American TV is crap.
I will again suppose that maybe, a sober person will be in charge of celebrity selection for superbowl 2008. Why don't you settle for a notable, fairly popular, recent star willing to just be there -- poor pay or not. I'd even settle for country crap music over identity crisis Prince -- far removed from the 21st century, and the daring to be stupid Janet Jackson and talentless Justin Timberflake.
I liken this to Jagermeister shots with 1953 champagne and warm Budweiser in the can. Although all three are alcohol ... no person should drink them in succession or in combination or in one setting. Jager is expensive, get wasted on terrible tasting mack-nasty shots. It is undrinkable. Warm Bud caters to the "white trash" of society, unconcerned with taste, but will to fork over money for cases of beer, each case cheaper than a pint of Jager. The 1953 champagn, however should be chilled and served as the right temperature and is complimentary to an occasion or only a few meals. It is not a shot nor a bottle to down to get drunk. All three are acquired tastes -- or, taking some time to adjust.
When selecting a person for public viewing ... don't choose the naked trucker, nor Tom Greene, nor Dick Cavett, Bob Saggett, South Park, or Eddie Murphy. Think about the general audience ... find a moderate, not Gong Show contestant. If you can't find one ... ask me, I'll find one.
Devil may care, Prince was a bad choice for Superbowl. His devil guitar was more popular with penis-seekers than with people dumbfounded people like myself wondering why those responsible chose Prince. They could have put the audience to rest with "Narratives of Al Gore", by the author.

One giant leap for phone kind? I don't think so. The message was, [my name] "got here safe. I'll catch you later, dad."
You say you bought that service? The funny thing is ... it is an Indy number cell phone ... why the garbage on the line?

at least no one was hurt
MR and I were watching COPS and an officer at the scene remarked, "at least no one got hurt". The suspect was pulled from an upside-down SUV that was used in felon flight. He was "in bad shape", stated the same officer. In this case, I concur, the suspect should not be regarded. He was trying to evade arrest at speeds of 100 mph and had, of course, run red lights.
I applaud the officer for disregarding the suspect in the analysis of, "at least no one was hurt" as the broken suspect was put on stretcher into an EMS.

Here's a highway shot of Showgirl I, yes one, because there are II, and III in town. I never thought of strip clubs having sequels, but there are always exceptions. I think the Knight's Inn and Red Roof Inn both have hourly rates. Huh. Imagine that!

So ... more on the car
My car doesn't need a $100 fix ... it's more like $300 - $500 at a different auto shop. Here is my tale.
I took the thing to Midas ... it was going to be $100, but no ... nothing so simple or cheap. They called back with $577, then $800 some for "all that we see that's wrong". Finally they stated, "we could do bare minimum for $177, but you'd need work soon after." I called another place, they were going to get a quote for me ... wait, hey time's a wastin' and I have a second interview today people! So, after 30 minutes of waiting, I called them ... computer wasn't showing prices. Finally, the guy guessed at $200. That's cool! Now, I have to drive over to Midas, get my car again, then drop it off, get another car and go to interview.
I wait ... car is on rack, lofted, at Midas. Midas gold touch nothing ... they charge platinum prices. Anyway, after waiting 20 minutes for them to release my car, I drive the bad brakes car to a shop ... there, I drop it off. They guessed that it might be until Thursday until it's done. Thankfully, I have access to another car (van).
I am late to my second interview. I expected the guy to flat out turn down my attempts, but he let me come in and did the second interview. I did a personality profile and vocab test. He said that when he crunches the numbers, he'll call me again.
Curse my short run of bad luck, but ...
I did finish the interview, so maybe I should stop criping. Yeah, I'll do that!

Life has a gun
I think my life is mugging me.
"Look, I don't have a lot of money", I call out to life.
"Gimme your wallet", is all life demands. The foul stench of bad breath and evil in the voice.
"Just don't hurt me", I beg ...
I hear a hammer pull back on the pistol.
My brakes will not be $90, as I was expecting ... it will be around $500
Look, (*&!#@$!#$%Y^&#@^#$%@!$%@$@^#!%@%^$@%$!#%$@!!!!!!! I don't want to spend any money on the car that I will not keep til the end of the year! Life is busy robbing me and kicking me in the nuts. $100 is one thing ... $500 - 800 is quite another. Gee, if I had that money tree or gold mine or something.
I am trying to get my butt out of debt and life hits me friggin' again! [long chain of expletives]

Just give me somthing to break
How 'bout my stinking bad luck run?
I pulled out to the street to go get my bloody brakes fixed. Stall. Stall. Stall. The wicked cold stalled it repeatedly, then finally ... roar, the small engine made all the noise it could. I drive to Midas, as they had the cheapest price ... imagine that!
Bridge out ... road closed, take detour.
I was scraping my windshield from within the car and my fingernail slid under the plastic tag showing I had an oil change recently... three quarters of the way down my nail, underneath. I wonder if I'll lose a nail.
I don't really want to break stuff ... just this line of annoyances, but maybe it could be worse. Yes, it could. It's a bit like the annoyances in the "Ironic" song, not always ironic, just aggrivating at times. I'm sitting here typing, so not "everything sucks", but this morning ... the petty things were adding.

Watcher
I saw a guy from maintenance watching a woman at work ... I'm sure he was sporting wood in his mind --- perhaps elsewhere. I will alert her to her secret admirer / potential stalker next time I see her. I could almost hear the gears spinning and evil thoughts' aroma permeating the room.
Wow ... I wonder if I ever spell out the sickness as thick as that. He actually moved around me at times to watch her move. Thump, thump ... thump, thump -- no, not the heart, but I'm sure there was beating. Bad bishop.

murderer suicidal
His lawyer called his client, "suicidal". The suspect of the dismemberment of his wife. Huh. Hostage negotiator myself called out to him, "I have dropped off a bottle of drano, rope, hatchet, razor blades and a half bottle of lighter fluid. I understand that you are suicidal. Please use this items as you see fit."
There! Now that ought to do it.

Year 4 or 5
I have tried to make an effort to go to a particular website (ring) with charities. I thought about it today and think that I have been able to do that free-clicking-for-charity daily for around four years. Sweet! I hope that it matters to those groups.

If I dance around
"If I dance around naked, would that cheer you up?" was the question I got today. My response should have been, "Well, that might help." +
Instead, I mentioned that if she danced out back -- I wouldn't get a chance to see the "show" as I was working and I didn't leave until 8.

ice something wrong
I was driving on the county roads -- highway and it was fine. I get back to town and poof, road is slick and the traffic is heading no faster than ten miles an hour. I drove quite a while at that speed. It was a main road, so I had no hopes for the other roads I had to take.
I get off that central main road and, viola the road is salted and wet -- no ice. The schmagin schmageheads forgot to do a main road. The schmutzs got 'random road 10', but didn't get primary thoroughfare. "Well why don't you put her in charge!" +

bashed
Man bashing by the women at work is common. "Great", I think ... hours of that stuff!
I didn't shave and my mild scruff was talk, as was a few errors and the non-too-subtle way to explain how to make something. What bothered me, other than the virtual-chimneys, was the "Do you know ... the two unwritten rules?"
Uh, no ... "green perhaps?" How should I know? Best guess ... "soylent green is people"
Stupid question, undeserving of an answer.

Curse my ambiguities
I read the post and it is difficult to follow, because I didn't use any names. Sorry, but I'll stick with nameless companies to protect me from any disastrous fallout from anyone reading my blog. I look at my stats and I find that there are many people that find my blog, fewer still who read it, and some, whom I don't know, who read it frequently (less than the term "often").
It is not out of the realm of possibility that an employer would find and read my blog and wonder -- "if".

Inter - v
I interviewed with a company today. The Human Resources man is also a district manager. Some of the higher-ups like to talk and he was no exception. While there were many odd things about this man, the most telling was that his pupils never changed. I wonder if he was on something. He showed no signs of being under the influence, but one never knows.
I have a second interview set up with him. I wonder how many others will get this opportunity. I didn't ask about the salary, as that might be rude or telling, especially in a first interview.
I might be just spinning my wheels with the interview, but it's my time I'm wasting, so I'm not putting out anyone else. I like where I work now and there are nice potentials and possibilities and the pay is good, but
I don't like the smoking.
The drive is long, but considering everything, that's just another six hours weekly, so it's basically a nit.
I have the strong feeling that I'll stay happily with the company where I now work and will have spent a few hours with the other company as an excercise in interviewing.
With this little success, I feel that I am getting better at interviewing. Now, if I had more to show and bring into the interview --- therein is the second part. My job now should bring me that if I don't stay with them, which I might ... who knows?

Go back to school!
I got an order yesterday that involved fractions. That isn't bad, but then I had to apply fractions to fractions to fractions ... it was a good mind exercise.
Yes, I would like 1/4 of 1/3 of the whole like this, then 1/8 like this then 3/12 like this , one half like this and add things that don't go on things you eat.
Crazy, I tell you, Crazy!
It all comes from not wanting to buy more than one!
Yeah, I'll have the minivan dooley with side vents and rear spoiler. Come to think of it, put spinners on it and install larger wheels and smaller summer-only tires. I want a woodgrain finish inside and out, with a tropical isle painting on the left and crimson terror on the right, a My Pretty Pony on the hood.
Okay ... that will be $175,000

odd
A woman at work has kids. Of the four, only one lives with her. Two are with a man (father) and another is lives with the grandma. It seemed odd to me, but I didn't press further. Four, minus two, minus one, leaves one, right. The question "why" lingers.
I also noticed that, because you are a smoker, breaks occur more often -- how nice.
Blech!
I was also suggested, "You should smoke!"
I would not, could not, in this place. I will not, will not, get out of my face!

2 unnewsworthy blurbs
Iran blames Israel and Us for world problems. Huh. Imagine that! Here, I thought Iran was fine with the US after all, they never funded terrorism, kidknapped or held hostage American citizens or killed service personnel or anything like that. I always felt that Iran was on our side, not. Iran blames Israel and the US is much like them declaring that the sun rose. No, friggin' crap!
John Travolta claiming that Scientology could have saved Anna Nicole ... huh. Wow! If only she had donated 25 + percent of her assets to the group, then surely she could have been saved. I'm sure, good buddy Tom Cruise, equally rational would agree.
To be a scientologist (notably not capitalized), you have to be rich, crazy, and stupid. John Travolta ... Tom Cruise ... yep. They are rich, crazy, and stupid.
While I'm not rich, I am crazy, but not nearly stupid enough. Sorry scientology ... you won't get me.

Well, I ought to just bite it and accept
I'm still looking around for other places, but I'm just not finding anything quite else that will work in the longer-than-short run. Six months from now, what will I be doing and earning with another company ... proabably not what I am with this one, so ... I think I might have to stick it out despite a few circumstantial shortcomings.
Of all the jobs I've had, this one has some of the most minor nits I could pick ... so I won't. The only real complaint I have about the place is smoking. It bothers me.
Regardless or in spite of my stupidity ... I plug along and am "doing okay" according to those in charge. I'm not fast where I need to be, but I can do well, just not at lightning speed as would be better.

body
I was bodychecked at work today ... I guess I'm fitting right in ... next thing I know, I'll have a nickname ...
numbnuts, pokey, mute
something like that
I also think I am the third oldest common person there. There is a very old person working there for a few hours, but that person isn't there for long, so I shall discount that person from the heirarchy of age.
One guy there I would annoint Arrogant Worm, if it weren't the name of a band. In light of this, I will consider the nickname, Tweety. He's a ke-oot little birdy in his giwuld cage, he knows his name, but does not act his age. I think he's safe in there from that old puddey tat. I think of Tweety because at the end of the cartoon, you want Sylvester, who's obsessed with getting Tweety, to outright slay Tweety. There! I won't be able to get the birdie.
What's the madder Missder Puddey Tat? Don't you wanna eat me enymore? As the Tweety eggs him on, Sylvester is driven mad.

Thin deer
I saw a deer near the highway, munching. It was unhealthy, as I could see some bone structure. Shame. Thankfully, unlike many highway deer, it was alive. It appeared to be female and mixed in well with the brown stuff previously known as grass.

I bet that would have been nice, but I now have a cheaper way ... no hotel at all.
I have another interview on Friday, so no hotel for me. Thankfully I called well in advance to cancel.
Well, it's an interview ... I'll just be a tired mug for it.

Well, I'll have to outdo him!
Oh, yeah? Well, I found a hole in the ground with a label marking it as the porthole to Hell. Yeah! Prove me wrong!
So, they "found" Jesus' tomb with family, huh? I find that as likely as me being the golden goose pooping out gold on a daily basis. What they have is a tomb with names Jesus, Judah, Maria. I was thinking of all the billions and trillions of people who have existed, yet there was and is no documentation on them. So, in the world of billions, presently, likely billions to trillions throughout human existence, there is a tomb with people. Gosh ... startling. This is much like seeing a famous person in cottage cheese. You see it because you want to see it.
Beyond the miracle of life hereafter, a concept that apparently is lost on James Cameron, Jesus the person was tried and executed in a typical and horrific manner of crucifiction. This, for many people of the world including Muslims, is regarded as fact. Still more people believe that Jesus, son of God, rose from the dead leaving no body, only the death shroud.
So this Jesus, who was killed, had a tomb for Himself, child (ren) family, and wife? Uh, not if he died. If he really were a father, as suspected, bibically speaking and judicially prudent in those times would have been to eliminate Jesus' son from being a great threat like Him or Barrabus. They would have probably enslaved or killed overtly/covertly, Judah the suspected son of Jesus the heretic rebel rouser.
Dear James Cameron,
Terminator 3 blew chunks. Titanic was a long, boring, stupid chick-flick. Don't package a befuddled mass of illusion and desperation into a "documentary" about where Jesus lies. The "lies" is right, but rather about the perspective shown, for there are no facts as you claim.
So, did the hunted Jesus have a publicist following Him around to give then-tabloid bits of miracles and whereabouts, but elusive enough that the Romans couldn't find Him? This same person then did spin-doctoring to make it possible for Him to be otherwise saved? I think not, buddy. I wouldn't make a movie about Muhammad, because:
I don't follow his thinking, raitonale, edicts,
view the act of making loose-fitting parts into a movie of a critical person/icon insulting to those whom it serves,
realize the backlash of violence and hostility that it would cause -- and for no positive change whatsoever.
Stick to what you do best ... fiction, plainly stated as such ... fiction, like Dr. Seuss or Mannimal or Abyss. Abyss, I liked, though a love story, it was cleverly crafted into a re-watchable near-epic with explicit morals and the larger picture being love conquering all. Keep with that or the eye-catching flash of Terminator. Don't mess with sculpted manure as "ecobio-American-art". Look, it's interestingly shaped, topically safe bovineporcine patties. It's poop. The fact that it's shaped like cupid and will eventually "melt" with rain to make healthier flowers, is in no way a distraction from it being poop.

hours and hours
I had a later (not really late, only 9) night followed by an early morning through a long 11 hour day, the next day I am due at 2. I decided that I needed a hotel room. Where to go; where to go? I check in the town itself ... yikes, near Indy prices, so I extended my search. It appears that for 30 minutes travel time, half my distance home, I could save $20, so I think I'll do that. I never thought that I'd have to splurge on a hotel room for a job, but I thought that I'd rather do that than sleepily wreck the wreck-of-a-car.
I could go with motel, but all the hotels are noon checkout time, so I'm spending money on free breakfast, larger bed, wireless connection. I hope that all equaits to a comfortable sleep.

Oh, wait. We stopped a clown car with a lone white guy. Driving while white? Dude ... we were looking for a car that could exceed the speed limit, sorry.
I see squad cars patroling the highway and a many speeders that catch. I have been lucky to be a slower car and not one that they would suspect could break the speed limit, let alone lead the pack.

Left scratching my temple
A woman at work has me a bit confused
make next left right
use brain make big words, fumble on thing called wet slobbery thing ...
duh, tongue
bumble hi, reciprocated, underscored
now ... why?
Sights can be confusing
do I ask or do I guess?
.........
Yes, all of that is jumble. It's a fair respresentation of a bit of the murky "crystal ball" in my mind ... sort, sort, sort ... ask again later. My lips move, but I can't hear what I say. My mind is confortably numb (with ideas -- no, scratch that, questions).

coughing on my end
I was on the phone and the resident smoke of three cigarettes, not to mention the stink on the phone got me to cough and hack while on the phone. Though smokers apologized for the inconvenience ... it is rude. Tip: if you're asthmatic, don't work where I do.

What?
Turn up my headphones!
I asked one person how they were doing and got basically, "Goony goowho". What? The second thing the person said was understandable English, not the first. That person works where I work. It was strange.
A couple of other people have a bugger of a time hearing with the ambient noise and dull, incessant hum of work, harsh white noise that dulls the ears. I have to stand nearly lips to ears to one person who has a tough time hearing. You'd never imagine how much noise is there. It isn't loud, per se, but constant. I'd say maybe a 15 dB or so constant level + or - 6 dB.
The other thing at work was to quickly make an order when you hear ... "askdfjo tah -- now!" Huh? I should have taken Klingon in college.

I dared, I lost
I dared to scan more of some material so that I could better organize it and reformat it. I know that there is a peek limit where my machine gets flakey. I thought I could push the limit. In this case, my laptop didn't present the issue ... my scanning did. The material didn't sit flat, so ... there are EKG readings where there should be text. In all ... I got 12% of what I wanted ... the rest, wasted. I knew I should have stepped lightly, but no .... I had to be bold and impetuous.
I wasted 30 minutes on it. I quit and will start again some other time. Thankfully it is not critical.

iAviso!
I read a blurb that Vista isn't going to offer Outlook. One user noted that it was like the 98 to 2000 Windows update. Wow ... look, with new "shinier" (TM) technology. While using Vista, it will do a courtesy check to make sure you have an authentic install of it. This will be conducted every 2 minutes while you work. With new features such as useless animations and roating windows.
Windows uses the Loren Michaels philosophy; if they laugh once at the joke, it will be especially funny twenty times in a row. Don't make a product better ... just make more, more, more! More plugins that you can buy! More codex that aren't installed! More settings to fine tune! Help now even more useless! That's right! With Vista you get more!

you got2
I had a "conversation" with a person on the phone. What I wanted to say was, "You got to learn to speak English". They weren't speaking a true foreign tongue, but rather urban ... "you got ... hav dat ... sum" almost like Lil' Jon calling in. I don't speak friggity diggity urban!
Better still, having three people and no ideas. "Whadoyouallwan ... hol' on ... yeah. Whatyougo ... hol' up . .. wha?"
So ... is there a human there who can take over the conversation please?

AIDS and a cure claim
As covered on MSNBC, Gambia's president claimed to have an AIDS cure. While the call to stop other treatments is dangerous, two other requirements make sense. Since some of the country is Muslim, he calls that patients stop drinking alcohol -- huh, go figure. He also requests that they stop having sex. Now that there is a good idea. Since much of Africa's continent is populated with people resistant to prophylactic use, abstinence makes sense.
That's kinda of like a third-degree burn patient with necrotic tissue on the hands suggested not to be the sous chef or barbecue expert. That's pretty sound advice.
The World Health Organization (WHO) reminded people that there is NO CURE FOR AIDS. Since better financed countries have been working on any cure for more than ten years, it seems unlikely, to say the least, that topical pastes and bitter drinks can cure AIDS. It seems to me that the "medicine" also didn't need refrigeration.

by viewers unlike me
So, the trend that I see in my limited TV watching is: shock and repel. Let's take the Snicker's commercial. It's shock and repel. It was stupid and then topped itself with homosexuality. Okay, how many times has your heterosexual friend leaned over to eat something dangling out of your mouth ... [wait for it] ... NEVER. The Geico commercials are fair and balanced with stupidity between two reckless and pounded ideas: speaking gecko and caveman. The caveman at the airport or any other such nonsense ... SCHTUPID! If they can save you that much money, how do they afford the commercials?
I'm waiting, for I know it'll be soon, that some commercial will have animals humping in the background, unrelated to the product or service. This will be memorable and will be aired over and over again. The SUV and truck commercials tout environment and mileage while driving over rugged mountains tearing through agave plants. There's a Nissan commercial with a couple who speed through town, because of the woman's question, "Do you think we'll make it".
Commercial pastureland, in a manner of speaking, if it looks, smells, and acts like manure -- it probably is. Of course, the TV shows are pretty fairly manure too, so they go together like a soap opera marriage -- infidelity rampant.

un-country boy
Bob Denver's, "Thank God, I'm a Country Boy" was on the radio ... on one of the five area-available channels. Yep ... I'm dislocated, like a football player's shoulder. I hurt, aching and silenced after time heals. I'm not a country boy. I've wearied of rap and don't really want to revist the 60s and 70s for the next ten years. It's interesting that one guy was called to go to what he called, "BFE", which is close to the feeling of remoteness of this town. It's strange that it has the features of a larger town, yet Mayberry in other ways.
I'm waiting to hear a hurried, high-pitched man's chant to, "Nip it in the bud."

offer
It isn't a long drive to work, but I have two days that end and start within ten hours of each other. My question was, "does it make sense to get a hotel room up there". I asked around to find out what hotel was fair priced and okay. A woman I asked first didn't know, but unflirtatiously offered her place. I felt odd, so I said I'd think about it. Well, I just don't think it's a good idea, so ... I can drive there, back and there again for my follow up day is shorter.
"You here a short while and we're family", said a different southern-belle woman, naturally calling for me to, "Smile ... laugh, do something." I'm a bit tense at work, as I'm just not fast. When I try to be fast, I'm sloppy. It's funny to see the veterans (of the company) there doing the job like hacky-sack -- mindlessly doing it with finesse and jovial conversation. I'm still thinking ... step A, step B, step C, step D ... read specifications ... step E. At the end of the night, I feel dull, not sharp, stupider, not smarter, weary, not invigorated. It is a different monster altogether than teaching.
Back to the offer, I'll have to decline and then drive all that time. The other side comment she made was, she'd like the company, her roommate moved out. Huh. It means nothing, but is unsettling in my mind. My back is starched and I'm thinking to remember or remembering to think.

Plan G (partially built)
Since I have troops in and around Iraq, to win in the light of seeming defeat, I would publicly announce the bounty on insurgents: $10,000 to $200,000 per person, relatively comparable finder's fee for weapons cache's, followed by public stonings and beheadings, and subsurface burial, so that each person may walk over the face of the dead, of any persons involved in retribution acts against informants. After that, you could use an ancient Egyptian technique of obliterating records of that person's very existence. So, in essence you make the penalty for violence sickening enough that you choose to follow.
Because the US represents a foreign force in all respects, it is critical to make the efforts a community effort and not just the US troops hunting down and killing insurgents. With this community spirit of finding, condemning and terminating/expunging insurgents and radical forces, the community will have a focus. While the violence will again escalate, the comminity will be responsible for the cleaning up, which is what it wants and the US wants. After some time of this, US military protected groups can come in and help rebuild some infrastructure to allow power and water continuously as opposed to the 20% opperational capacity it now runs in urban areas. More rural areas are still under 10%.
In this case, while the forces and resources needed are greater, the resources could be better spent. Also, with the community taking a greater direct action, the role of the military would be more supportive and less direct, which would ease the nation into self-control and border awareness. I would set timetables.
In four years, 80 percent military removal
* to accomplish this:
** shifting of naval forces to cover "rogue" nations and shipping
** declaration of intentional underestimate deployment into Middle Eastern region
** re-classification of roles/tour
*** specialist -- 9-10 months singular locale, then rotate out to non-middle Eastern region for 3-2 months
**** earliest recall 6 months
**** if volunteers to redeploy after 3 months, increase in pay
*** generalist (Pvt/PVC) -- 2 week phase in, then 11 months, 2 weeks phase out
**** earliest recall in 3 months, pay increase for voluntary redeployment within 1 month
--- this increases military personnel to focus and specialize in areas
** train on and off site, police in Iraq
** police stations will be rebuilt like Saddam's buildings, penetrable only by bunker-buster bombs.
** portable gas spectrometers (successfully developed in 90s) will be in place in unmarked vehicles to inspect areas for possible weapons, starting with urban sweeps and moving outward.
** begin required multi-lingual training, in that all recruits will be introduced to other languages for projected deployment (e.g.: Farsi for Iraq, Korean for Korea, etc.)
** job placement for honorably discharged personnel
To secure itself, the US will have a seven year plan to print every citizen, figers and toes, and in ten years DNA.

Salt
At my hands-on job, I work with salt (sodium chloride, potassium, etc.). I have checked my blood pressure and it is fine, yet my pulse is running high, as of late. I smell fairly clean, but my hands -- yuck. They smell like work. I tried soaps, shampoo, windex ... all to no avail. Today, it is time to try something new.
Last night I had a burning sensation in my fingertips from the handling of the heavy-salt items. While the cold preventions bacterial growth, the salt kills even more. I think the more I handle it, the more it'll sting. I'll look for disposable gloves soon. I washed my hands repeatedly and moments later -- ouch! There is one item espcecially that is overly salted. It is not something I use in my general life outside of work.
I'm a vegetarian now ... I could not "go back" after smelling it and working with meat during the day. Granted, it's processed, then processed, then processed, but still ... stink, as is the basis of my non-meat eating ways.
