I saw my niece's concert tonight. It was postponed due to weather. They had a band performance and three choirs sing in around one hour. Why can't they be that efficient during a regular session? Granted, they probably didn't sing as many songs, but my word -- pay-at-pump fast there, I tell you!
My niece has nothing nice to say about the director, who is a two-faced buffoon ... yelling when out of earshot of other adults -- according to her. She'll graduate in May and be on her way to be a Vet -- maybe.
Although they were quite talented, by far their best -- recordable was Carol of the Bells, which had crystal tonality and range modulations generally found on re-mastered works (baritones briefly raised above high sopranos).
Gradually degenerating into ignorance and complacency.

Badges! We don't need no stinking badges!
Ah. I think it was Dana Carvey who remarked in a monologue that if you're 0ver 18 and you're stilling wearing a name badge, you probably have the wrong job. I like my job, but the fact that kids walk up to me and are delighted to read my first name -- a tabboo in professionalism, perhaps he was right.
I have heard:
That's a cool name!
My cousin's name is ....
I like that name.
