I got a call today railing on Hayhurst. The person on the phone didn't say anything positive about anyone before I hung up. Okay, understand that if you have nothing positive, don't call! It would have been one thing to put one candidate on a pedestal and the other in the pig trough, but they spent all the time critiquing the candidate with, misinformation, according to the reading I have done on Hayhurst.

I wish these types of calls would be as unlawful as unwanted phone solicitations.

There was a dead woman on the ballot and with a coin toss, the dead candidate won over the living candidate. Okay, my questions is; why was there a coin toss?

Halloween 2006

The usual suspects arrived.

It was a nice party, sadly MH decided to overindulge and paid a minor price on Sunday with mild illness. The goofy thing was the come and go with people and odd circumstances that we call bits of life. Considering this also, Lori beat me to puking! I didn't until 10:00 am Sunday, Lori started in her car and not from drinking.

It was a good time and it was interesting that MR had to run out to get a game -- operation, the wacky drunkard's surgery game. This is not as interesting as the compilation pics Dave assembles, but it will do. I like for ... I am not in the picture. Thanks everyone, as it was great to see you all!

Cast of hundreds

There is a school very close and they have an annual Halloween parade. I missed them marching down the street this year, but I did hear the thunderous drums as they marched in costume along some of the streets. I believe they have enough chapperones to make it safe. It is an old tradition. I know, because I used to be in such a parade myself. My neices also had that privilege.
