When my father and I tried this ... we were always too close. I split my lip and face lots of times. I grew to hate baseball with all that remained of my face.

my trip to South Bend

Was simply wasted.
My day wasn't, as I got to see friends on my way back. Yeah for me!

please help

I am Robin Williams and am living on the West Coast of American, namely Beverly Hills in Los Angeles. I have been forced into working for a rich family who insists that I appear as an older woman. I am virtually their slave and servant, catering to their every need. I have millions of dollars from my entertainment work, but the bank cannot recognize me while I am dressed as an old woman.

If you will send me your bank account information, I will be able to escape from Beverly Hills to a safer area. I will gladly pay you 20% of my bank account from which I will draw funds.

It looks just as legitimate, right?

So what language do you speak & spell?

So, your last name is Williams, you were in Kuwait, lived in Ivory Coast and write in an Asian language. So, do you speak many languages?

Why conspiracy theories sell well

If you have insufficient evidence to a question you still want to answer, you piece together all that you know. Anti-government conspiracies work because the US government has a history of questionable answers.

"I did not have relations with that woman." there are more, but this is fine for my example.

Imagine the well spring of aliens and government cover ups. Why is it believable? The government lied too many times to be credible. At Roswell, they reported a UFO crash landing, then it wasn't that it was a weather balloon, then fifty years later, they detail it was testing high altitude parachuting and survivability of the pilot. So three statements, none of which match ... does the government lie?

"There is no Area 51." OK, then later, hard drives were lost ... data stolen from Los Alamos Labs in famed Area 51. So, there isn't, there is ... the government is incredible.

Oliver Stone had to sue the government for them to release the JFK video. Video tapes showing the jet crashing into the Pentagon were all confiscated for evidence, but only one video was released to the public. Again, the government makes itself incredible by what it does. It fosters distrust.

The election of Bush over Gore, people felt disenfranchised, elsewhere elected officials getting away with crime and more. Conspiracy theories "work" because people feel weak, powerless, and know they are given lies. Whether the disinformation like Roswell was for National Security (working on the ejection seat and parachute for spy plane) or like those used by the CIA in Cuba during the Bay of Pigs, the United States government needs to stop lying.

It will be the undoing of America if the citizens completely distrust the government. If the reports of UFO activity are returned with blackened out sections, that feeds the fear, the distrust. Conspiracies work because people distrust authority naturally, and the government isn't forthcoming naturally.

The use of propaganda to get the US into the war in Iraq doesn't help America have a whole ton of faith in the government as well. This goes beyond the President, but the whole of government. I'd rather see America stick around rather than be purged due to stupid lying on the part of those in power.

The US government should help itself and lie less. A trusting people are easier to govern rather than increasing numbers of factions.

one quick note on homosexuality

So many people rally against homosexuality for any number of reasons. I know that many men, especially, feel phobic about gays running around. Those same guys who HATE homosexuals, delight in seeing girls with each other ... moreover the dark sick thoughts of bi-sexual incestuous twins. Yuck! Read those words, then decide if seeing the Olsen twins having each other is as attractive as you thought. If the guys are against homosexuals, then they would see lesbian sex go bye-bye. Oh, you want lesbians, but not gays? Well, that's the trouble with objections to homosexuality. If it's a religious thing, then you can't really enjoy two women with each other. That is a sin.

I will note that I regard marriage as a religious ceremony that should be one woman, one man. If you get married by the church you STILL have to file legal paperwork for it to be legal in the state. Therefore, the marriage is a religious ceremony only. If homosexuals want the same, then a legal process of civil union is fine. If you thought the divorce rate was high for heterosexuals, imagine the stats if you let all couples marry and divorce. Divorce (dissolution of civil unions included) rates would jump from nearly fifty percent to seventy-five maybe.

The rates speak more on individuals than on the institution of marriage. I do, or at least 64% of the way I do. You see, then I have a back out clause that I said I do before I said I don't. I voted for it before I voted against it.

Slide it off center

Well, I don't like slanted news, but FOX might start winning me over if other news stations don't captivate my attention better. Granted, FOX news is Conservative Republican slanted, much so. I will also argue that it seems to try to rally people, every now and then, to really fixable problems. FOX isn't perfect, I won't list my objections, but note that it might be a bit better than Liberal chaos theory.

MR might be right about Bill O' Reilly being right sometimes.

It's going to be a tough millennium!

One Nation, under Jihad

Whoa! OK. I see that there are more domestic threats than I knew. I thought the heads-in-the-sand religious sects who preach incest and child rape were the worst lot. Well, at par with them are the Jihadist school board members who don't mind choosing textbooks that propagate the Islam we have all grown to fear and loathe. I am disgraced by many people in power who pull fast ones and more over who corrupt the weak. I disagree with teaching Creative or Intelligent Design, but by golly a scarier threat is teaching Jihadist Islam to young and weak minded fools or children who are taught to believe and respect teachers even if they are wrong.

Remember boys and girls, Allah (Big Brother) is watching you and knows you will do what is right, which is fight the infidels who gave you the freedom of speech and assembly. Fight that bill of rights!

America, we need to talk! If you read the passage in any religious text, "it's ok and expected to kill infidels or non-believers", put down the book and reason out the situation. Would God demand the slaughter of infidels? If you read such a passage, you might want to note that it is likely a new kid on the block. Islam ... younger than Christianity. Religious Western states sects (Mormons, etc.) are even newer. As the years pass by using only the old texts, many people get nuttier and nuttier.

If, however, enough people point out the "kill" [name target here] in religious doctrine, then maybe the world might see the fanatics and ruthless people for whom they are. Yikes!

How many Kurds are blowing up themselves for Allah? None.
How many Islamic Americans are blowing up themselves? None. While the Freeway Snipers were Islamic Jihadists, they didn't kill themselves.

Keep America great ... don't teach hate, don't teach slaughter. If you find these teachings, put an end to it.

I will note here that the teachers and school board members weren't beheaded, stoned to death, shot, imprisoned for life, or the like. I think in Saudi Arabia who whipped a rape victim, Syria who deported a teacher who named a Teddy Bear Muhammad, etc. would have promptly killed the people and found out facts some time later by accident.

Hannity's America

Well, MR ought to be happy that I happened on this one. I agree that this country is the best country. I didn't like Hannity's approach to his guest. If you will not concede that this is the America is the best, I will have to get rough! Anyway, it was the typical ... if you don't agree with everything we say, then you are un-Patriotic, un-American, and siding with the terrorists. It was nice to be reminded that America donates the money money and supplies to other nations, often more is donated by citizens than by the country itself. It shows a defining character of many Americans.

Media complaint

The problem I have with the canned on-the-spot shows on networks (not just Fox) is that the guest is castrated and burned at the stake if they dare suggest a differing opinion. I'm waiting for "Blasphemer! Burn the witch at the stake!" or "Crucify him after feeding him to the lions after a painful gladiator battle!"

Is it possible that I have differing opinions?

Can I go on CNN and suggest that the war is progressing better than depicted?
Can I go on FOX and suggest that the parties are closer than they appear in the mirror?

I can, if I am willing to get tarred, feathered, and discredited as a cannibalistic psychotic with an undocumented decades-old delusion of grandeur. I would be falsely labeled as having communist and neo-nazi ties.

on finding that job

As well as the legitimate job offers, I weed through the dubious ones. The first step is, find the real company name, look on google for that name + scam. Most of them qualify for scam or MLM unachievable madness. First, build a client base by selling to family, friends, neighbors, your dog! Your fish sees the wonderful service and products your dog is getting and approaches you. Now you are a success because you don't have to market yourself. Then reality kicks in like an unwelcome guest and you remember that fish don't buy and dogs, faithful as they are, don't have cash.

Multi-level marketing, ah ... yes. It looks like a pyramid, smells like one, quacks like one -- I'm guessing pyramid regardless the protests. I am still looking, though the economy's downturn helps few people, especially those seeking jobs.

Little bunny hopping

car porn

For those who love cars. Eww!

I haven't finished watching the movie

I sent it to a couple of other people. I will not mention it by name and it will inflame most people who watch it. It is damning on many levels. I will later found it's counter, then post links to both.

yoga stretching for the reaching some folks do

Don't drink soda while watching this video. You will either be angry and spit it, or laugh at the stupidity of it and send soda out your nose. I will answer the question, "Yes. This video should be banned."

Well, you can't learn without experiencing and sometimes reading.

I was watching a video that tried to emasculate Jesus. It attempted to liken Horus to Jesus. While it is sensationalism, it doesn't pan out too well when you start reading. While Wikipedia is not the perfect source for info, I believe that Horus, a war god, is not really the same as Jesus. Nice try though. I would call that a miss (strike).

To liken Jesus to Attis is as mad (crazy) as Attis was.
Krishna was joy, peace, seducer of girls. Again, uh ... not Jesus.

I think I'll stop here and drink the rest of my tea.

If I were to buy into this guy's load a unholy cow patties; I could still look at in a more pragmatic way.
If the explanations of parts of Jesus were the amalgumation of lots of Pagan principles, but ... you wanted to convert animal and human sacrificing groups into a safer, peace-loving Christian lot, wouldn't you liken Jesus in parts to their deities?

Heck, I would! I don't find it wrong to have, what I consider useless traditions, being strangely similar to Pagan rituals. I don't practice them, but see you had to sway infidels with mild, however stupid concessions. In the end, non-essential traditions notwithstanding, believing in God, and moreover Jesus isn't a bad thing.

It is a disservice to liken Jesus to a war god or a seducer of girls, or many other god incarnations. I am sure that stronger Christian believers will be more than angered and incessenced at this video, but ... I am disappointed that this little sketchy bit of puke will get people to think, "Yeah ... dat's da ticket. It was all just a coverup, or lie, or something like dat."

If you are a Christian and a thinker, this video should do little but wonder if the freedom of speech shouldn't have limits. You thought smut videographers were the problem, how about hate and deception mass media? Next up, how about Hale Bop and the Nazi Scientologist poly-theist polygamists? No, not a music group.

Stamp it 'bat shit crazy'.

so moved

While the word, "love" is overly used, I can sometimes hear it or read it with the feeling behind it. "I love chocolate", fascinating, but a sad waste of feeling and meaningful word. "I love her" or "I love him", sometimes really like a whole lot. Every now and then, "I love him", slowly creeping from the lips, fog rolling covering the floor to waist-high in cool-soothing texture.

"I love ..." sweet floral scents bash the senses, making you dumb to all but the hit it drives into you. Yes, unlike a fighter's pain from punches, it is sustaining, powerful, but not painful. It is a beauty to watch, feel, and almost certainly magic. Can you explain a couple's song playing at the right moment? Can you explain clouds covering the moon so that a couple embrace in darkness and secret?

Love, spoken truly doesn't have to be clear to anyone but the listener. Sometimes, if you cleanly pay attention and listen, you can hear and feel love. It isn't just an empty word, no promises, no continuity. It can be "I love you", and the world is shown changing eroding, reforming and back again. Days pass in seconds and love remains. That is love! Love doesn't happen over a day, and true love lasts beyond the mere life of a person.

She moved me. I felt "love", more than heard the words. L-O-V-E, soft, special, powerful, moving.

hard to watch and not be moved

I skimmed through channels last night. I saw part of a documentary, "The Falling Man" after watching, "Secrets of 9/11". Well, the "Secrets of 9/11" wasn't so much Washington Monument; straight and mostly pointed. It was rather leaning like the Tower of Pisa.

-- bitching alert:
TV listings. You can get a TiVo, you can search through 2 months in advance to find tv shows and movies, but you can't damn well find something that they aired three days ago. The problem is, I only think I know what channel: National Geographic. Filth and foul!+ Curse, curse, curse!
-- bitching done

Anyway, the Secrets show had a small problem that most of the country has with what Bush did. Now, I am not much of a Bush defender. I actually have to note that many people point out that Bush was "doing nothing" for 45-minutes after the first plane smashed into the tower. OK. So, put yourself as President sitting in an elementary school as you scheduled. Some disaster hits, the depth of it, uncertain. Should you jet out of the classroom, setting many into a panic as young students might be prone to panic? I'm not sure if what he did was right, but I speculated possible thinking.

Do you consider the thought that it was, very likely, an isolated jet hitting the tower that many people were lost, but the tower would remain standing. I find the latter to be more likely. I don't blame his staying there rather than the prompt, "sorry kids ... America isn't safe anymore; terrorists are attacking us with our own planes."

Anyway ... that documentary had some interesting bits, but still was leaning and doing some blaming.

The next show, "Falling Man" was originally shown in 2007. I didn't see it then, and couldn't watch it all. It was difficult to watch the towers being struck and worse, people jumping to their deaths. There were several people who fell that day, photographers got many of them. A grieving widower was interviewed and had woefully accepted the likelihood that his wife leaped to her death as she was found on the street.

I would suppose that I would jump the hundred some stories too, rather than cook before suffocating. Few times have so many people (mass) had to opt for death by grisly means, none of which pleasant.

I watched some and was moved ... I wished it were a bit faster so that I could get through the end, rather than drag out my emotions a bit more.

Do you expect me to talk?

Pennsylvania's ruling on

Intelligent Scam. I won't bother detailing anything on Intelligent Design vs Evolution. Instead, the case should have pointed out that the producers and publishers of the books used in Intelligent Design were likely more interested in using that as a money-making project. Therein lies their passion -- money. I am sure that they probably believe in Intelligent Design, but it seems odd that they wiggle around things and pop out books that they deny having money for them -- don't know from where the money came.

So my take is, they push I.D. into being taught in the classrooms. They previous put together books to sell to the school system(s). If more schools started teaching, they would reap in cash. The case is a case of greed wrapped around a serious topic that people debate.

When you have liars say, "if only we had books", then viola! Books arrive. The books that "could be used" just happen to be available for sale by these two guys. How remarkable and too coincidental.

not jokes, sadly, but about lawyers

A judge in New York has to sue to get a pay raise. He has to sue other lawyers. Huh.

Another judge orders petty lawyers to use a child's game to settle an argument. I think what we have here is complete evidence that there are:
too many lawyers,
too much legislation on everyone else, not enough on lawyers

If you are a lawyer, be offended. Take this as a way to clean up your own coven of personnel. We might very well have more lawyers than military. Hell, use them! How many tears will be shed when divorce lawyers and criminal defendant (F. Lee Bailey) lawyers, ambulance chasers die by the tens or hundreds?

They would post a number of dead lawyers and I don't think the news viewers would use it as a "crying shame" that our service personnel are dying at a phenomenal rate, which they aren't.

I would like to hear, "The President has approved of the lawyer draft" for our commitment in the Arab region including Afghanistan, Iraq, and other areas. These unarmed lawyers will be essential in the use of cleaning America with the additional benefit of perhaps making an unarmed difference in the Arab world. Go G.I. Bureaucracy!

invitation to abusers

So, let me check this off here. You are going to pay adults with minimum education, minimum pay for the privilege of working with difficult children. The employee might have to use tactics and restraints on the children. Huh. I wonder if there will be some child abusers or pedophiles apply for this job well-suited for them.

I wonder. I wonder if this place PAID better for MORE QUALIFIED applicants if the place might be better. I suspect arrests and lawsuits in the future for this company. Despite its history of 125 years as listed, I wonder how many times they get lucky enough to find a financially well-off person will to dedicate her/his life to this noble cause. I'm guessing few.

In return, you get children who need security and stability, while the qualifications and pay ensure high turnover rates. Bad, bad, bad idea. [Bop on the nose with the newspaper]

When doing a favor

cleaning out garage, I found an area very popular with mice or a very poopy mouse. Wow! If you haven't smelled mouse poop in a while, you are in for a great treat! If you ever thought cat poop or pee smelled strong and foul, wait until you try wiffing mouse poop! Whoa!

I recovered three glass pieces that I might try to bleach to save, everything else goes. I later found fur from something long-since dead. Could it have been -- a mouse. Very likely.

My boredom with Andre

They played this at least twice. I found it as dramatic as "As the stone get eroded (over thousands of years)". I like Wallace Shawn. I'd say his talents were completely wasted on this old movie. It's nice someone picked him for funnier roles.

My Dinner with Andre did have difficult scenes, not only to withstand awake, but also for the actors to do, as they were long takes. So, are we going to be eating? Well, this is spring and the wheat isn't harvested until the fall, so I will continue to talk (not Wallace) while you and the audience are completely struck with the feeling that at least cutting off your head would be sensational, unlike the movie.

Clinton now supports Obama. She is behind him, way behind him.

way of the crazy

cartoonish, but so are some "thinkers"
Nuts?
Well, if you want half-logical steps leading to quarter-rational conclusions based on bits without context, then you too can have some flights of fancy and call it whatever. Boy!

"The truth is out there" is as meaningful as, "it's in there" a ketchup commercial. It is a bit sad to see people make some really odd believes on little.

I had gone through a few pieces of UFO and alien rot and, thinking of the applaudible inclusion of "Terminator" scene of Reese's interview explaining the future with SkyNet. "In technical terms, he's a loon." If you like the idea of super-governments hiding secrets, try National Treasure. It is as equally fantastic and believable like Jurassic Park, Men in Black, and the Hulk.

So many people are poisoned either early or late with questions or worse, distrust. What I don't think conspiracy-theoroists understand is the network they develop is more dangerous than Scientology. That, at least, has a face. Hiding in place sight is a very scary prospect.

Too often religious sects are found only long after the poisoning and destruction has started. The difference being is that you generally have a somewhat charismatic leader who can be brought to justice. Whereas if you have a blogger or publisher who openly opposes the government and its wicked evil agenda, what are you left with then? So, in the United States, even given the number of times it has not been defending itself, computer owners are allowed to freely type and speak wish to overthrow the government who allows it?

That is crazy; that is dangerous. I, myself, had stated that there is too much corruption in the government and that there is a drastic need for change, but democracy is a hell of a lot better than say, Cuba, Russia, China, and the list goes on. Cuba has no allowed computer purchase and cell phone access. China allows these too, but ... internet freedom is not limitless.

While I find the "sightings" interesting intermingled with the hoaxes, I am disturbed by the general message of, "don't trust the government". Again, I find "errors" as it were in the government, but I will not condone an anarchy movement that would destroy the freest and most modern government of the world.

I don't want the homosexual culture to be as common as fast food restaurants, but enjoy the freedom that doesn't execute homosexuals for their being.

Tying this to previous posts: while I may have be simple in my explanation of distrust the bible or distrust your religion, I should restate that you should keep an open mind, be free to question and come up with a rational, reasonable understanding. That is not to get people to inherently distrust. No, no.

If all religions are wrong and there is no God, then the churches and spirituality of people and their understanding of souls, heaven and hell, are still good things. Whereas people without hope, without security, without structure, without government are unruly, wicked, and will not progress. The church has provided structured living for many people, giving them hope and understanding. The church has collectively grouped people to accomplish many great things -- charity, spreading faith and trust to many people across the globe.

While some people intentionally misguide people, others unintentionally, most often religions guide people through life so that they are productive, feel loved, and have a sense of hope. You have a finite physical lifespan. Do all that you can in that time frame. If more people had this concept, then being locked in jail WOULD be a penalty. It would be days, weeks, months, years where you could do nothing in your lifetime. That would inspire you to get clean, move ahead and help others.

In my lifetime I hope that the seeds I have planted were good ones. Each person affects others, a continue rippling effect. I only hope that I planted more crop than weed.

Fort Wayne's festival

Germanfest 2008

ahem, fix this please?

I approve police using every effort to fix this area. There are non-criminals here and I think they deserve a safe Fort Wayne. I think the residents will applaud your efforts. Heck! Send the National Guard in there!

Another murder. The mortally wounded victim backed into a house, wrecking it. He had been shot. Why is there a debate whether it is a homicide? Why are we letting the gangs dictate policy. If I wanted to live in L.A. . . . anyway, I hope the police are given greater latitude in prevent more violent crime in this area.

They should fix the law so that police should only have to have evidence of ONE, and ONLY ONE drug buy before they raid the place.
If the person arrested has ties to local gangs, deport his butt to the nation of Chile or use him for mine-sweeping in Kurdish Iraq or the Iraq-Iran border for all I care.

The citizens of this city should feel safe and it can't happen if they are so scared that they will not be witnesses in court, or indeed, disclose vital information to police when questioned.

So, when I looked into the sending email of qq.com, I got a completely different site. Yep, good company when recruiting manager are using gmail for liking document for good working sending when winds favor you. I didn’t open the application doc nor apply. I did, however, find qq.com translated to English amusingly problematic.

My take on qq

Go here: are receiving English good words (this is a sample from qq)

Under the pressure of the apology is not necessarily true, but her remarks aroused public indignation than the original after it is sincere. It is said that Lufthansa is a very high IQ woman, in her appear "instinct" when there are rumors. The high-IQ people say is characterized by or very straight, or very bending. Lufthansa chose the former. Straight said that the characteristics of being easy to spread, and then transferred aliasing. Lufthansa's statement marked no courtesy, she started her on the topic. In the language, I think she called for the residual brain can, because she did not control the outcome of things is maintained. Sharapova back diary as the same as foreign journalists jet, and bold words, like more than just words. The price is pleased expression of insecurity.

to get spat on

I will accept my payment of spitting and jeers, like I have a choice.

I have tried to wrap my mind around the concept of accepting every line of the bible as the direct action of God and the word of God. I am too arrogant, thinking I am smart, and favor a more reasonable assessment. I reason out the bible in a humanistic way. I know that this leads to error, because I am a human and prone to it.

So, if I am a human, pastor is human, cleric is human, deacon is human, are we not each capable of rendering a decision on the bible? As we not all capable of reading the books and having an ever-so slight or vastly different take on it? I think with the number of denominations (and false ones like Mormans+) that we can indeed come up with different understandings.

Is a deacon chosen by an Angel? A deacon goes through a legal process in the church with selection and evaluation. I don't believe congregations get to elect one. If that is the case, then humans, ultimately, are choosing. I add here the decades-long history of knowing a problem priest (non-Catholic and those who are Catholic) passed along through different parishes rather than fire the "employee" for violating the trust of the company, in part, committing fraud and perhaps embezzlement.

I try to reason out understandings of many things. I take the bible, not as a complete volume of all of the will of God, but rather as history with the miracles of God, explained to the peoples to the best of His ability.

Could Noah wrap his mind around the concept that there were other nations, oceans, continents, polar bears, penguins ... uh, no. Could the writers of Genesis possibly understand the sun, radiation, the moon, the stars, the planets, the milky way, comets, no. Could early biblical people understand plate tectonics, rock formation, fossils even from their own time period, climate normalities and changes, again no.

Did those people understand chemistry, biology, etc. I think trying to explain to early people these concepts would have been a waste of time. Some people, through disease and famine lived less than ten years. Living to thirty was good! Would these short-lived people, living-in-a-bubble people understand even what a million is? Had they ever seen a million of anything other than locusts and sand grains? How about a billion, trillion? Who do you convey spans of time to people who don't have calendars? Many didn't have sundials or the like.

Explain the world, existence to simple-minded persons. You cannot convey the complexities because the lack the ability to understand -- in a sense, too stupid. I mean this, for each generation is taught as much as they can be of what was, then how to use modern technology and understanding. Try teaching many older adults to use the computer when they never have. It can be a long process. Try explaining mountain building to a young person.

If you accept everything, then you would be in a quandary regarding a periodic shift of passion and rage throughout. Whereas if you look at it as history flecked with God's miracles, then ... it begs another go, another read.

The concepts of the ten commandments itself is a point of contention as one school of thought is that "thou shalt not kill" is inaccurate, in that it was meant to be "thou shalt not murder" based on the translation. Translation ... who does that, man.

So a human translates the bible from language to language with the NIV being a newer version. So, with English being as completely versatile and ambiguous as it is ... when it is translated next ... what will the meaning of "bad" be? Will bad be, "cool", be of evil-intent, misguided, inconsiderate, foul-smelling. Ah! Someone, ultimately approves of the translation.

There are written and unwritten languages of the world. The Holy Bible is being written in those languages as I am typing. Will the translator be more even-tempered or more like David Koresh, Muhammad, Joseph Smith, Hitler? The principles stand alone. Make the world better and stronger (improve it) by your being in it. It is the one truism in most modern religions.

misguided

Since I raised eyebrows at my support of a vlogger I should better clarify a comment I made regarding "misguided" teaching. While The vlogger in question is undoubtedly atheist, his commentary on science and rationale stands on its own. I encourage rational people to examine the world in which they live and not cling onto the potentially dumbing ideas given to them by a misguided person, however well-intentioned.

If, after much scrutiny, you find that your thinking has validity, great! As long as you examined it for strengths and weaknesses.

By misguided I mean, by example: snake-handling "Christian" worship, abhorring-doctors Christians who would see their family (especially children) die from a readily treatable condition or disease, sect-cults who "believe" it is better to "have your children" to have more children then find flavor-of-the-week father-like figure to raise some.

More traditional or mainstream religions still denounce other denominations as "false" and particular groups as heretics and worthy of persecution. Read up on Martin Luther and you will find Jews were an easy, likely target for a number of reasons. Muslims are a good target (as I have picked on them categorically myself), for the louder/loudest ones are generally amoral, immoral or in other cases extremely dangerous.

This is not true of all Muslims. Communists try to infuse government with religion, replacing party members as deities and that there is no God (Marxism--foundation of Communism), only society and the governing body (facilitating 1984).

How about Scientology, Hare Krishnas, Neo-Nazi (in pre-war WWII Germany, Ayrian aliens and God don't mix, though there were some churches allowed to exist if they recognized Hitler as the supreme being).

I will not pick on Buddhists, for their peace philosophy is great. I will note, however, that very few have the strength to follow the correct principles without being tainted by society or by others. The secluded temples can separate a number of people so that they are more likely to reach enlightenment, but in practice you can't have it all. In China where protesters are killed, enlightenment in a Godless government with militant reaction, is challenging, to say the least. It is, for most, unobtainable.

I think it is equally hard to believe that God wants man to horribly mistreat women, as directed by many Islamic countries. Is this the word of God or the morally corrupt direction of a repressed man, Muhammad. God who lead people to victory, who protected His people, guided His people to His simple principles, God who put forth many prophets and Jesus who directed all persons (especially followers) to love each and be at peace, then directs Muhammad to slaughter infidels. I don't think that is the will of God. I don't think God would command his simple-minded followers to find enemies, meaning you are looking, and slaughter them.

That is Salem witch trials, Rome, Sparta, dark ages Europe, Nazi Europe, Asia's purge of the Jews and other political enemies, Africa's battles for independence, Jamaica's societal wars, Caribbean island wars, Cuba, Spanish Inquisition, and the list goes on.

If your God tells you to kill, read your list carefully, and know that you too are a target then for other groups. Do not be mislead or misguided. Use reason and rationale. Maybe, just maybe, you will find that some parts are not as sensible as you were told they were.

Although the statement earlier was merely an extension of the Evolution-Creation debate, people's reaction speaks more of their thinking than of their dedication to principles. A person doesn't kill or persecute another person or group because God wills it, it is by the person's will only. A person accepts a concept based on merit, reasoning it out.

+ Hare Krishnas, while non-violent, have a "guru" requiring an unreasonable portion of a member's assets, and generally a non-truly theistic philosophy

Thanks Jeff, Paula

He's just plain cute!

He's much more entertaining than my upsetting posts.

Anyone who can draw out the sword shall become king. My mind is pierced and all thoughts must move around the pain that is it. I knew I had bad news tonight. I was just slightly wrong about whom and the time. The pain started later than I planned.

Do me the favor then when you pull out the sword. Hack what remains of my brain. May I die. It would be merciful.

And to offend people!

Why do people laugh at Creationists. Look for the many part series on YouTube. If you are a staunch creationist you will be offended. I personally liked the approach of the producer pointing out that the creationists lack logic and ignore science.

art allows crime

Bill Henson is allowed to present nude teens because they are art. Right! I'm going to have some one take video of me kicking his butt. What? That's not a crime, it's "performance art!" When he is so battered that he never walks again and has poorer vision and damaged hearing, that's "living art", baby! He can't eat solid foods, "just like a starving artist!" Yes! He will be a testament to wackjobs in the art industry.

computers and aliens

If you know applets, you might read books on aliens.

Come, visit little warzone

Fort Wayne offers all the comforts of a no-man's land and more. This week, a house blew up with no fatalities, which is a good deal better than gangland shooting. Is there a chance we can let the police use more force to enforce the law here, please? I'd rather like the non-violent citizens of the East Fort Wayne section to feel safer.

Predator season

The house blew up? There have been attacks, murders, houses blowing up. Certainly the locals can't be involved. I suggest that the only rational explanation is a predator is on the loose for this year it grows hot.

Or, maybe the likeliest reason is that people are killing people. Gosh Mr. Obvious, I never made the connection.
