Indiana health inspectors lose jobs for snackin' and slackin' on the job. Gee, when you let us use these cars, I thought for sure we could do Canadian trips in them. Every year I was going to Bristish Columbia, but now ... I can't. It helped that Hoosiers were footing the fuel bill.
Unreasonable use of vehicle for non-work related travel and tracked time spent in restaurants led to dismissal of persons. What surprised me is that whe the newspaper carried the story of investigation, why the head didn't just resign then. No, he waited it out and was summarily fired. The state declined to take the day-later resignation. Go figure. The others were put on suspension (administrative leave) then fired.
I suppose there will be openings now, right?
GPS installed on cars helped the government finalize their decision to find "critical errors" in the labeling area. Labeling being the use of vehicle for work use.
Gradually degenerating into ignorance and complacency.
