I went to a "new" drive through place today and ordered a fish sandwich. The sandwich was okay, but what was remarkable was the girl at the window. She was missing a front tooth (right central incisor, but it gave her a childish innocence that reminded me more of the Wendy's girl. I don't know why it struck me so odd, but it did. Perhaps I saw that so often in school with kids losing and gaining teeth in rapid succession.
Anyway ... they got my order right, no tartar sauce. The other sandwiches that were in the order got inflated with mayo. When I use the term inflated, I mean, taller from the layer (s) of gooey, nasty mayo. Yuck! I know that I once liked it, but oh my word! That was gross and more than I ever would put on a sandwich. Yuck!
-- from my pic caption of Monkeyjack at Burger King drive through:
Yo -- please get my order wrong.
I'll order the extra spicy and not get it. I'd also like you to disregard my request for no tartar sauce. Thanks!

Packaging
Consumer Reports has a category dubbed Cocoon Award, for most wasteful packaging. While this is timid in contrast to others they have presented, it is comparable with the lower end of wastefulness. The vitamin bottles were also filled with packing. What gives here? Perhaps it was the smallest box they had?

Habanero Doritos
When I photographed this, I was thinking of the mistake I made when I bought the one bag a while ago. "Kal El, do not intervene with human history!"
As I was checking out, a manager walked by and dropped the [next picture] package of hot cheese to me in celebration of the store's completed remodeling. I geuss he thought it was hot?

car vs van
I borrowed my father's van, as my car is possibly going to die. I didn't really want to be an hour from anyone when it chose to die , so I drove the van. I never tracked my gas mileage on my car, but yikes! What I could do in my car for $10, I did in the van for $30. My car gets better gas mileage than I thought! I don't want to lose the gas mileage, but the next car won't be that one. I'm hoping for something in the middle of that. Confortable, AC, style is unimportant.

Gas
It's not just expensive ... it's damn expensive now. Gee! They're cripin' about the price, but not driving less. Hmmm. I think we should raise it again. Soon, we'll find that equilibrium, where the consumption doesn't lower and our price doesn't lower, yielding maximum profit. We'll just say some political jargon and claim complex algorithms ... that'll do it.
That's right boys and girls ... and it aint' gettin' any cheaper from now on

Someone's wish upon a star came true
Now, more nasty humor:
Ken lays dead (Ken Lay's dead),
His money outlived him,
awaiting sentencing in his vacation home -- his vacation time ran out,
serving 20 years was too long of a sentence,
"...no indication that he had suffered any adverse health effects", well, that is except for his death.
Ken can now generally be found, just lying around
+ link was chosen based on 1st in listing on Google ... no preference

Red rocket's glare
One of the my family cooked a communal dessert -- a pizza pan size cookie with super sweet frosting and fruit topping. Later, everyone got more sugar with ice cream.
My nieces were happy about firing rockets and fireworks; no longer relegated to spectators alone. Despite her best efforts, one niece couldn't light a pair of rockets to fire simultaneously.
Father bought a fair amount of fireworks. The girls like the parachute type, but many failed to eject from their rocket and plummeted to the rocket cooking the chute. Angel tried to get into the mix of things by having her face right in the fireworks. She also rolled in the blackened grass, for dog reasons humans cannot fathom.
The girls disliked the Roman candles as they were limited in number of shells and the speed at which they fired. I tried to speed up things by lighting a series, but each burst blew out the lighter he was using to light the others. Typical of me -- a couple tipped over sending pellets horizontally through the grass. No one was hurt.
For a finale', the girls like the mortar shells. We tried to get three to fire at once, but that never happened. My older niece was able to ignite me with fiery debris and my other niece’s oddly exploded in the firing tube rather than launch out then explode. My older niece was also able to light me on fire a bit, though I was not really hurt.
Neighbors all around had thunderous quake fireworks sounding more like artillery and cluster bombs than real fireworks. Others still, had neat low trajectory shells that wee lovely to watch.
One big no no I did was not using fire, which some might believe was the greater sin or danger, but rather assuming. I assumed that the tubes were stand erect, but was wrong. I did, however show reckless disregard and held a couple Roman candles, directing their shots. Should a person do this --- no, but others do. They are, in fact, constructed a shielded in such a way that they is possible and the thump and fuse burning can be felt through the tube.

Bad day for dogs
My neighbor's dogs are aching to get into the house. The noise, the stink, the fog in my front yard from the thousands of mortar shells and fireworks fired and it isn't July 4th yet! Please, be kind today and this week ... bring in your dog, protect their ears --- poor companions, punished this time of year.

Flaming Balls -- Bad Ass
Okay ... flaming, as in --- fag or on fire? I don't know about you, but I don't want to buy, hold, handle, or own flaming balls either gay or on fire. Shells for ass ... yikes!
Anyway ... conservative Indiana lifted a ban on C4 explosives and so we will have a fire-ridden 1st year of incindiary fun. I will have hoses in case the neighbors land firey rockets on the roof, they never care what time of night they fire them ... doubtful they'd have concern for their fire potential.

Bug out
or in ... depending on perspective
pestfast instead of breakfast; move over raisins, the beetles invade America
slimy, yet satisfying or awakening to How to Eat Fried Worms and other stuff that Baloo, Timone, Pumba aren't afraid to eat ... watch out for those American Cockroaches --- populate quickly, but oh so nasty.

I'd rather be working
Much like the horse's, "I will work harder" * fulfilling the pig's regime's Stalinistic/Communist agenda; I volunteer this honestly about myself. I would rather be working than working on getting work and putting together my flaky resume. Cripes, what a stinker! If only there was a video dating-esque way of talking and showing who you were so you could prostitute yourself off to a good company for reasonable pay, hours, benefits.

dumb; dumb dumb; dumb dumb; dumb dumb

like a burrow's whiny -- or dumb ass
It needed to be done, but it wasn't smart to cut large branches/limbs without a spooter and without assurance that they wouldn't fall wrong and snap wires. God was with me and no wires were harmed. It was also dumb to run through a stream with old leaky shoes. On my travels to and from Indy: when the speed limit is 70 drivers going 60 is dumb; speeding in a Ferarri on the highway -- dumb as they will get you and impound your car -- what fools! Also -- expecting my brother to change his nature -- dumb -- got burnt a bit this weekend, because I forgot and had stupid expectations.
