live, love, have a good time
Live: meaning exist and respect the life that God has granted you
Love: not just yourself, but others and that which exists
Have a good time: laugh, play, you can do things physically that exceed the spiritual realm; like smelling, tasting, feeling (tachticly)
If a spirit lives on, bodiless ... food and thereby taste is immaterial. Your own body gives you senses when you hug ... follow them. Don't destroy others' lives in your pursuits, either in death or in physical or psychological destruction. God loves you; Christ redeems you ... enjoy what you have!
My family believes I'm a heathen ... they're probably right.
Gradually degenerating into ignorance and complacency.

3 simple policies (sounds preachy)

The foundational principal of most religions is that this life is merely a staging ground for the hereafter. "Hereafter" being a bone of contention betwix the various denominations. Anyway, a lot of people explain their "faith" as a security blanket. If you talk to them long enough, they'll say "yeah, but isn't it better to just play it safe and accept Jesus and your personal savior" (or Ala, or whomever). Do these people think that an omnipotent, omnipresent Deity is going to be fooled by their superficial representation of themselves? If you don't believe it, no point in acting like you do, I tend to think if your God has half the power you think he does, you're not going to put one over on him. I can't imagine you cat-strutting through the pearly gates and telling the first relative you see "that guy at the gate is a sucker." And it is unfortunate that as unlikely as our existence is [198,242,244,235,535,234 to 1 against on the improbability meter], there are those who still think it isn't enough, and flitter it away preparing for something "more." That seems to be a common attribute of man. Give them something and they will look for the next best thing [formly a BBS, but that's neither here nor there].
