"Are you still intersted in the assistant director position", quipped an email respondant. Sketchy terms ... website lacking, but yet in town. So ...
I got my job now with potential for growth,
I have a potential for a different city management job,
I, today, got a 'respond to this' offer ...

Watcher
I saw a guy from maintenance watching a woman at work ... I'm sure he was sporting wood in his mind --- perhaps elsewhere. I will alert her to her secret admirer / potential stalker next time I see her. I could almost hear the gears spinning and evil thoughts' aroma permeating the room.
Wow ... I wonder if I ever spell out the sickness as thick as that. He actually moved around me at times to watch her move. Thump, thump ... thump, thump -- no, not the heart, but I'm sure there was beating. Bad bishop.

weeks of weight
I have kept track of it ... I'm losing about a pound a day, on average. At that rate, I'll be doing better in a while ...
long while ...
okay, weeks
five to six weeks to be down to my better, healthier, ideal weight.
Well, here's to getting lighter, healthier!

Dude ... you finally look young?
I used to be guessed at years or decades older. Recently, I have been guessed at younger ages ... like 25. That's cool, now if only I had those years back!
If only I had some years to relive.... I'd fix a few things.

Where the Mustang meets the road
Red Mustang vs highway ... poorly driven Mustang never stood a chance. US 30 eats another car, this time a red mustang driven stupidly.

murderer suicidal
His lawyer called his client, "suicidal". The suspect of the dismemberment of his wife. Huh. Hostage negotiator myself called out to him, "I have dropped off a bottle of drano, rope, hatchet, razor blades and a half bottle of lighter fluid. I understand that you are suicidal. Please use this items as you see fit."
There! Now that ought to do it.

Year 4 or 5
I have tried to make an effort to go to a particular website (ring) with charities. I thought about it today and think that I have been able to do that free-clicking-for-charity daily for around four years. Sweet! I hope that it matters to those groups.

If I dance around
"If I dance around naked, would that cheer you up?" was the question I got today. My response should have been, "Well, that might help." +
Instead, I mentioned that if she danced out back -- I wouldn't get a chance to see the "show" as I was working and I didn't leave until 8.

ice something wrong
I was driving on the county roads -- highway and it was fine. I get back to town and poof, road is slick and the traffic is heading no faster than ten miles an hour. I drove quite a while at that speed. It was a main road, so I had no hopes for the other roads I had to take.
I get off that central main road and, viola the road is salted and wet -- no ice. The schmagin schmageheads forgot to do a main road. The schmutzs got 'random road 10', but didn't get primary thoroughfare. "Well why don't you put her in charge!" +

bashed
Man bashing by the women at work is common. "Great", I think ... hours of that stuff!
I didn't shave and my mild scruff was talk, as was a few errors and the non-too-subtle way to explain how to make something. What bothered me, other than the virtual-chimneys, was the "Do you know ... the two unwritten rules?"
Uh, no ... "green perhaps?" How should I know? Best guess ... "soylent green is people"
Stupid question, undeserving of an answer.

Curse my ambiguities
I read the post and it is difficult to follow, because I didn't use any names. Sorry, but I'll stick with nameless companies to protect me from any disastrous fallout from anyone reading my blog. I look at my stats and I find that there are many people that find my blog, fewer still who read it, and some, whom I don't know, who read it frequently (less than the term "often").
It is not out of the realm of possibility that an employer would find and read my blog and wonder -- "if".

Inter - v
I interviewed with a company today. The Human Resources man is also a district manager. Some of the higher-ups like to talk and he was no exception. While there were many odd things about this man, the most telling was that his pupils never changed. I wonder if he was on something. He showed no signs of being under the influence, but one never knows.
I have a second interview set up with him. I wonder how many others will get this opportunity. I didn't ask about the salary, as that might be rude or telling, especially in a first interview.
I might be just spinning my wheels with the interview, but it's my time I'm wasting, so I'm not putting out anyone else. I like where I work now and there are nice potentials and possibilities and the pay is good, but
I don't like the smoking.
The drive is long, but considering everything, that's just another six hours weekly, so it's basically a nit.
I have the strong feeling that I'll stay happily with the company where I now work and will have spent a few hours with the other company as an excercise in interviewing.
With this little success, I feel that I am getting better at interviewing. Now, if I had more to show and bring into the interview --- therein is the second part. My job now should bring me that if I don't stay with them, which I might ... who knows?

Go back to school!
I got an order yesterday that involved fractions. That isn't bad, but then I had to apply fractions to fractions to fractions ... it was a good mind exercise.
Yes, I would like 1/4 of 1/3 of the whole like this, then 1/8 like this then 3/12 like this , one half like this and add things that don't go on things you eat.
Crazy, I tell you, Crazy!
It all comes from not wanting to buy more than one!
Yeah, I'll have the minivan dooley with side vents and rear spoiler. Come to think of it, put spinners on it and install larger wheels and smaller summer-only tires. I want a woodgrain finish inside and out, with a tropical isle painting on the left and crimson terror on the right, a My Pretty Pony on the hood.
Okay ... that will be $175,000

odd
A woman at work has kids. Of the four, only one lives with her. Two are with a man (father) and another is lives with the grandma. It seemed odd to me, but I didn't press further. Four, minus two, minus one, leaves one, right. The question "why" lingers.
I also noticed that, because you are a smoker, breaks occur more often -- how nice.
Blech!
I was also suggested, "You should smoke!"
I would not, could not, in this place. I will not, will not, get out of my face!
