Cabin Fever Pitch

1. Don't see this movie
2. Don't see this movie
3. If you ignore the frist two, then wear blindfold and earplugs
4. If you ignored 1-3, then take acid, develop ADHD and alzheimers
5. If you developed memory loss you missed:
profanity F* used equally in Pulp Fiction

Evil Dead had less blood and less brutal killings
Evil Dead had a beginning, middle, and end -- a simplistic plot to follow

I guess the writers here, F*ing forgot the F*ing thing! F*! What a F*ing terrible waste!
Foul, crude, stupid, pointless

I guess the title should have been Cabin F*ing Fever F*ing Bitch!

Monks, monastery and madness

dreams from a wirling dervish -- emptiness and fullness in a mad Russian's nightmare

Tuesday night -- dreams of monks and monastaries; why, I don't know.

Thursday night -- dreams of watching a mirror and everything in the mirror was going backward

Dr. Kevorkian says, I drink too much coffee? One tip -- eat fewer pillowcases and include a hormone replacement therapy

I just don't sleep well. You'd think I could. I've had enough practice over my more than three decades.

I was dunk'd

I agreed to be in a dunk tank. It was my first time. It wasn't bad, the water was warm, but the air and wind were terribly cold. Ouch!

The principal was there before me, but I understand that I was dunked more often than he was. How's that?!

War of the Worlds 07 AD (series) ep. viii

More reports are in and there is no second incoming object, thankfully.

Under the fog of communication lapses, the US military moves into better positions in Iraq and Iran. The NEO, as it turns out was a long-ago sent “weather satellite” that held its position for a while. A piggy-back craft grabbed it and started it on its new trajectory – Earth. The missile, had it fired wrong would have started WW III, but as it was, successfully sped up and exploded in space over the Arab region. The communication blackout was a success and the battle will soon begin.

Operation A21-F (07 AD, completion of Arab ‘dis-ownership’ *in 2007) underway. Its target start date off by 14 weeks, but will 2007 might be the end of the Arab-Muslim realm. Generals in the Non-Muslim Pact have pledged support pending initial successes over the first four weeks of the silent operation. While no longer needing to claim NEOs, other communication blackouts will continue to shroud the area, like a non-dissipating storm. A rain of so-called counter terror is massing. The Tsunami army will strike soon and hard.

Reports of UFOs are now common over much of Africa and Southern Europe.
* dis-ownership, a.k.a. destruction

Cat scratch fever

or, that's what I'll call it. I was at Dave's and Cinder came up to see people. I started scratching her and she would not let me stop. She lied on the floor and continued to want scratched. More ... more, never enough! I'll go cooky!

Cinder is a cute pudgy-looking cat, with loads of loose fur, people-loving. Will, however, chased her around a little last night, barking like a dog.

Unbearable lightness of being "It"

Not the evil clown creature of Stephen King, but rather:

Trying to approach a couple of kids during their recess time and their mad dash scurrying away from me --"Ah! (giggle giggle giggle)"

I wound up playing tag and was again reminded of how out of shape I am. They were hanging on me at times so the "it" could tag me. Other times they would herd around me like hungry pigeons saying "Me!" "Can't touch me!" "Tag me!" and so on

It was a good time that earned me a "higher" status with them, rather than mediocre tyrant who likes control and less noise. It was well worth it in the end.

Typically, there were several injuries on the playground, unrelated to tag and a couple of times running -- shoes flying off feet because they weren't tied. This is a typical "fashionable" thing to have -- like basketball shoes untied (Sadly, never credited to Run DMC). I remember doing that in the 80s.

War of the Worlds 07 AD (series) ep. vii

Day two and there are known power outages and general chaos in the Iraq area. There is no power, no phones work and most vehicles seen are inoperable. The military has confirmed that some communication loss is correct, but it will be re-established. Visitors to the area have mentioned no change except for a general lack of power and communication.

The second NEO has now been confirmed by other specialists. It appears to be the same size, but moving faster. Since Urich was destroyed on the atmosphere, it is predicted that this new NEO will also. US military is sending supplies to the affected areas, but communication is still lacking.

War of the Worlds 07 AD (series) ep. vi

The object increased speed, broke apart and seemingly disintegrated over the area of Iraq and Iran. There appears to be no fallout, but communications have been disrupted. Military communications stopped at the moment of impact of the object on the atmosphere. Satellite images of the area show nothing new, but some satellites have been inoperable.

Some cell phone users are complaining from lack of service. Emails have been coming through with sketchy details. Some cities appear to be powerless. There appears to be a strange absence there.

The US has not confirmed or denied military communication errors, though persons talking with servicemen at the time were cut off suddenly and weren’t able to reconnect.

The US had sadly mentioned today, its discovery of what appears to be another NEO. No other nation has verified this.

in command of nothing

I have finished a long-term assignment, now I have bits here and there again.

I think, with my experience with other children, that I am that fat jolly old elf ... summer time Santa, not threatening ... you can punch him, bounce on him, and he still gives you presents. With that, I wonder if I am that, which is why I have some difficult time convincing children/students that I mean business and that like-it-or-not, learning and practice is what we do.

I guess Buzz Lightyear can't be a teacher, perhaps -- although the one time that I never think of "its a payday", teaching isn't the perfect fit. All other jobs it was ... working for the pay. Teaching, I like so much, that apart from bills and debts ... I never think of the money. It is a fun ... it is work, but I never think of "its a job". It is what I do --- fun, work, accomplishment. There I achieve!

I'll be sad to leave it.

It's better to burn out

than to fade away ...

my father's friend, slowly degenerated ... lost hearing, vision, co-ordination, then finally died from prostate cancer. His wife had to put him in a retirement/assisted living home, as she couldn't adequately care for me. What a sad way out. Lost of vision, hearing, so there you are, alone with your thoughts, then -- you fade into your next form.

Perhaps it is better to burn out. I am sorry for the loss to these loved ones. I met him a few times. He was a nice man, resembling somewhat, Walter Matthou.

Pains of civic duty

I have agreed to be volunteered to be in a dunk tank at a school. There are some kids who will be "gunning" for me. Thankfully they are pie-throwing. 30 minutes and I'm done, wet and off to Dave & JJ's (include here Will and Andrew).

Thanks Monkeyjack! BTW: Charlie stated right after me, "EWWWWW!" seconds before I purged it from my phone. Way to go Charlie! That's right! That's EWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

War of the Worlds 07 AD (series) ep. v

In 2 hours the object will strike the Earth. It has increased its speed again and appears likely to hit the ocean and not the US. Americans are relived that they are in less danger than they were hours and days ago. With this news, many in the US are returning to a calmer state and expecting to return to a normal “hump day” Wednesday.

Camera crews on ships are preparing for any footage they can get and have announced that the associated press will pay for most footage of the object.

The US military is at a stand still in the Iraq movement. The news that they may pull out, has been changed, but the insurgent lines still pour into Iraq unchecked by the military. The US again focuses on the challenges of helping Iraq regain and retain it’s freedom from a coup. It hasn’t announced any intent on increasing its force which is now substantially smaller.

Japan’s rocket fired correctly, but missed the object, so scanning it wasn’t possible.

War of the Worlds 07 AD (series) iv

It is 11 hours now until the object is to strike the Earth and it appears that it will strike the US, but it may not be in Missouri. Scientists are still struggling to effectively predict its point of impact. The object is oddly deflecting radiation, preventing effective scanning. There is no known reason for this and scientists are baffled. Presently it is appearing to speed up on its decent … again, an aberration that baffles scientists. By this slight increase in speed, many in the US are hoping that the predictions are wrong that that is misses the US and strikes the ocean.

The US is scrambling to ready itself for any problems that might arise from “Urish”. Japan has prepared a rocket to come close to the object to hopefully determine some information, and plans to fire it within 2 hours. The weather in the area is still a problem, but Japan will launch regardless the weather.

In hopes that some of the object is retrievable, ships are moving into the Atlantic Ocean to recover it. It is a possibility that the object will survive greater if it strikes the ocean, but it is unclear if the resulting collision will cause a tsunami. The US is calling for all non-military craft to leave the area in case of such a problem.

Many vessels have entered into international waters with the hope of making it rich, catching the object and selling it to the highest bidder.

Uncommon question

as asked of my by a 4th grader: "Mr. [my name], why do people scream when they have sex?" "None of the teachers seem to know."

I responded: "Oh, they know. It's just, uh ... better if you ask your folks. They'll have more time to discuss it with you."
