The US played War Games in 1999 and found that the Iraq war was a possibility. This peeves me for two reasons. I really like the "timely" manner in which this was diseminated to the public and the government. I also find that "we knew" is generally an, "I told you so (nee-ner nee-ner nee-ner)" or that someone looked at results and found that they could say that their predictions among millions were right. Conspiracy theorists find success with this because who is to then challenge them without having a long-winded and unnecessary debate.
Gradually degenerating into ignorance and complacency.
