Well, one, when your bigotry and angst interfere with teaching. Here, we have a case for a piss-poor teacher being excused for his evil-intent in that he has a passion for teaching. Really, like decreeing what is, rather than allowing decisions to be made. Moreover, forcing the purchase of propoganda? I think this guy knows Hilter, because he imitates him. Fire him, now! Regardless whether people approve of Bush or not, this teacher's teachings are flatout wrong and inflamitory.
Gradually degenerating into ignorance and complacency.

Ah, the complications of free speach. If he is teaching that to (college) students, then he should probably be fired. If his expressed viewpoints are not part of class lecture, then he really can't be. He sounds like a nutjob, but whether he is actually a good teacher is not really apparent. If he is trying to indoctrinate students with wacko views, he's bad. If he just has wacko views, well, we can't say.
His essay is not part of the required reading. There is no indication (stated) that he will not be spending equal or greater time covering the opposing points of view.
He may be a bad prof. He may deserve to be fired. But for anyone to decide that based on a (superficial) news story is about on the same level as his comments.
