From the local police briefs there are ... well, peculiarities about the charges and sentences. Whereas some drunk drivers are held without bail, others get ROR. Cons who resist arrest and are dealing cocaine get bail, but not other criminals. It's nice to have the info, but it leaves me not understanding. I'm sure there are reasons for it all, but luck of the draw with judges clearly plays a role. It's just intersting to see.
