peel away, scrimp

juxtapostion

same city ... different worlds

historic parts of Fort Wayne

Tucked away on Washington was this nice little find. I never knew it was there.

sad, church in a sullen way

You can't go to church just whenever or when you want to. This is in a sadder part of town.
There is a glimmer of hope, a healing spot, but it is locked away.
Thank you Pastor Bell for giving light and hope to souls in greater need!

click, tap, click ... aw, fudge!

I think some of my problems can be attributed to me.

came from above

Zelous of the dead

I got this one for the odd name.
missing a headstone ... odd.
buried 2006, still grass does not grow
founding family of Fort Wayne, Rudisill
born before Indiana was a state
very sad image of a grave
One would think this was the site of a child, but no. She was a mother and grandmother.
Last supper and ready to meet Jesus; very large grave marker

not Dave's

Chappell's, sorry Dave, missing the "e".

Not Sharon, not the Mermaid, but aerial. Yep, what's that doing up there I have no flipping idea as I see there is Dish Network attached to the house.

I disapprove of this message

I am [insert name here] and I approve of this message. America needs [insert banter here] and I can bring positive change. I am the right [candidate gender] for the job. Americans want [list of needs and some desires] (missing is that America wants to remain on top, realistic or not -- that's what Americans really want) and with [these steps] (we or America) can make it happen. And now a word from our sponsor: [Have you tried Ego-Viagra; do! It will perk up any normal ego into a superego. This is RJ Reynolds ... This is car company blah, blah. Here at Mobil Oil, we care about the environment.] Welcome back!

As I was saying ... thanks to the American market (ie: company commercials) we are stronger as a country and can win the war on terror (though we'll scare you into not sleeping at night). All we need to do is turn our tail and run and threaten to not buy anything, though virtually nothing is made in America now. We need to be oil independent ...

[H3, more fuel efficient than numbers 1 and 2, and you can drive over trees in Yellowstone, it has that much power to conquer the wild.]

So, vote for me. I promise less cronyism; isn't that right guys? Yes, [sir or mam].

I will now entertain questions with a politician's song and dance.

"I love to dance a little sidestep."

League of Women Voter's

Much better than many other sites. Do you want to be blanketed with info, then go here!

as in outside, or the car, or the car with the obnoxious driver with obscene music played at deafening volumes, hereafter dubbed Loudiy. I was driving to get an oil change and I stopped a car and a half length away from the loud car, despite my distance from the light. What a flake, rude too! The driver was likely early thirties, not a teen. I understand that there are many new hearing aid devices available. That's good news for you as you'll need them in around ten to twelve years -- you putz!

journalism

Why most people who try journalism don't make it. Here, I clearly would bomb out for I would tend to use spell check before submitting or posting anything on a news site.

Last night's walk

about 8.5 miles ... not too bad. The sad thing is, I was expecting rain and I had with me a hat and coat. It was hot and I likely looked silly carrying them these several miles.

I think I'll see things in marshmallows next

Jesus in a sonogram?
OK. I didn't at first see it, then ... pow ... a really bad desperate attempt at finding something.
So, Jesus made an appearance with different length arms, no torso and the arms are too long for a human? Uh, I think you are terribly in need of miracles, but not this. Try going to church and finding Jesus in your heart or soul, no an X-Ray, your paint, your tie, carpet, dashboard, photographs. I think it was stupid to have this as a news article.

Somebody made me...

want money to do it. Hannah Montana Cyrus poorly chosen photo shoot. "I didn't want to do it", right. I suppose there was a gun to your head the entire time. Yep. Right, bogus! She did a risque photo shoot and no laments that it was a bad thing. Worse still, Vanity Fair gets off free for the near child porn? Who's to say that there are photos of her wearing less? I think this should spell the end of Miley, hopefully the end of Vanity Fair and maybe Disney will start re-thinking and re-tooling itself for FAMILY viewing.

Hey kids! Be like me and Britney ... be a high-paying ho thanks to Velvet Jones.

Let's close this chapter on America's journey to the dark side, shall we?

I'm sloppy too

That isn't a job

So, do I inspect terminal people, an airport terminal, or must I be terminal and I'm hired as an inspector?

harsh treatment for shoes (2nd day with them)

The grass stain on right shoe occurred five hours after I bought the shoes. Yep, I'm tough on shoes.
I normally buy a little more expensive shoes, but at $10 and my treatment of shoes, I thought I would try them. They are not especially comfortable, insole weak.
