Perhaps it means something embarassing. Imagine a guy at school, when for a good reason or no good reason at all -- broing! You dare not stand and if the bell rings, well, you've suddenly discovered a page needing erasing (for time to elapse). The mistake was being a guy -- with everpresent ideas of sex and women.
In my mind, I'm thinking of Yoda commenting, "Obi Wan has lost a planet. How embarassing. How embarassing."
