It just so happens that I know almost all the Fox anchors by name and the lady you have listed as "Liz" from a Spanish channel is actually Rebecca Gomez from Fox. Based on this blatant inaccuracy I'm also going to guess that your formula for determining the number of lights per branch is flawed--if for no other reason, because the branches get progressively longer as you move down the tree. Even if you figured the relative shape as a cone for the calculation, you couldn't come to a consistent number of lights per branch because it's going to be more at the top and less at the bottom.
BTW: not having the option to edit my own comments kind of blows. I had to do a copy, then delete it, then paste it, fix a typo, then repost it.
