War of the Worlds AD 07 (series) ep. X

Day three of the battles:

The US is now firing payloads of ordinance on all primary targets. Bombers are running strikes on inner cites, causing continued communication blackout and services severed. In droves, many people are trying to exit the country to neighboring countires.

On the Iraq border, many are finding resistance from the US and from Iraqi military. When weaponized and when unarmed, many are summarily shot and killed despite reports of being attacked.

So far, no land forces have entered Iran. It has been speculated that no land forces will enter Iran until 2007, long after the cities have been destroyed. Some surveillance has revealed limited activity in urban areas. Hot zones have been targeted as military targets.

The world still is unaware of the deaths of millions in Iran.

I played music for the kids in Art today. In my collection, including Kidz Bop, was Y.M.C.A. They loved it! How very odd that a 27-year old song by an openly gay group (perhaps not all were gay, but were in costume for it) was the most memorable.

Charlie, playing Smash Brothers with me, states, "I put it on team play" with a tap on the shoulder. He knows Smash Brothers. His favorite weapon, the hammer. It is wicked and kills 70% s of the time with the first hit.

"vampire" Jeff's experience with Bubbas

"vampires" -- Monkeyjack's term, were talking a bit with me, none to Charlie's joy who hoped I (the toy) would play with him -- not talk with adults.

Jeff recalled the story of meeting the siblings. I remember something like this:

Having never met them before, his girlfriend (now wife) left him alone in the backyard with the brethren seven, intellectually that age too? They huddled together and sent their biggest man to confront Jeff. Jeff -- now away from Connie, was uncomfortable, because of a "confused" person there and their general aloofness toward strangers or Lost-like "others". Junior, comfortably 6' 3" approaches lightweight 5' 10" Jeff.

[pause] Jeff likely wanted to say something nasty in return like, "you're not as bright as your lighter"

Later Jeff mentions that one or more stated, "If you touch her, you're gonna be hurtin'".

Now, this is correct, despite their gutteral, perfunctory use of southern-drawl rural English

"I'm a marine and I'd like to see you try it", quickly retorted Jeff. He left because there was nothing there but a waste of effort, speaking more articulately drunk than they could sober. He found Connie, but couldn't convince her to leave. Jeff spoke with the grandma who asked for violators.
She slammed open the door and demanded a swtich so she could draw blood on wrists, punctuated with with slaps to the head to chronological adults. As it were, southern (suthnrn) justice.

Connie likened the cadre as rabbits --- overbreeding and breeding poorly (not just a pun) apparently living off state gratuities to unwilling-to-work families.

Does Jeff sound bitter?

They seem nice to me and their stories, when I get a chance to hear them, are very funny.
Connie, might be pregnant for the first time. Her cancer, finished (?) last year means that she'll have a challenging birth. My luck to them.

My charger is going bad. I went online to buy one.
I couldn't find it.
"You can't buy it online", said a tech support man.

Let me get this straight. An integral part of my computer ... can't be easily bought?

I bought one, after being on the phone for 1 hour with two tech support guys and 1 sales parts guy -- $80 after shipping and taxes

I called customer service and got, "Do you want to buy the part or not" -- nothing like, what can we do for you ... anything.

Skip Dell. It is my last purchase with them.

Cerpicio's family has a cottage and they are protecting it from the hundred-year flood, by raising it. He mentioned that it is lifted six feet off the ground and will be raised and finished in two weeks. That's cool!

War of the Worlds 07 AD (series) ep. ix

The UFOs, as it turns out, are aircraft flooding the area over the blacked-out Iraq/Iran. They position themselves over the area, preparing for a massive assault. Two large missiles have been fired at a level of 30 feet, skimming over the ground to their targets. The payload is thermonuclear.

In the last moments before, Kherramabad disappeared, small blips of power were becoming available in pockets of Iran. Singular phone calls were placed, catching up on lost news … allaying worries of death and sickness, everything was just fine.

[deafening silence]

Missile two strikes near the Iraq – Iran border; people, roads, mine fields, military all disappear without voices. Communication is still blacked out, but a mushroom cloud is impossible to hide. Clearly, this is no act of God – it is an attack.

US and British intelligence leak that a large cache of nuclear material was activated, causing the border explosion, while the second explosion is credited to Iran’s hasty development of nuclear weapons. Iran and Iraq cannot offer any story, as they are still blacked out.

Paula - Dan (could be PK Dojo)

Paula, it appears -- now reaching her black belt first degree can become an instructor if she so chooses. Paula and Cerpicio had a celebration for her achievement, in which I botched the time, arriving well after everyone had left. Sorry I put a dent in the evening, but that movie we saw needed lots of viewers to assure you that you weren't missing something, but rather that it was foul!

Anyway, the belt, bearing her name is neat, with a bar on the side indicating her degree (1st). She mentioned that there are stages to get to the each degree, a number of years roughly equivilent to the ranking of degree, so that the 2nd degree takes 2 years, 3rd three and so on. Therefore, a person who has a 9th degree is likely an older person, yes?

I hope that she does with it what she wants. Sometime I would like to see her work. Cerpicio was not enchanted by the prospect of her demonstrating on him.

I was dunk'd

I agreed to be in a dunk tank. It was my first time. It wasn't bad, the water was warm, but the air and wind were terribly cold. Ouch!

The principal was there before me, but I understand that I was dunked more often than he was. How's that?!

More reports are in and there is no second incoming object, thankfully.

Under the fog of communication lapses, the US military moves into better positions in Iraq and Iran. The NEO, as it turns out was a long-ago sent “weather satellite” that held its position for a while. A piggy-back craft grabbed it and started it on its new trajectory – Earth. The missile, had it fired wrong would have started WW III, but as it was, successfully sped up and exploded in space over the Arab region. The communication blackout was a success and the battle will soon begin.

Operation A21-F (07 AD, completion of Arab ‘dis-ownership’ *in 2007) underway. Its target start date off by 14 weeks, but will 2007 might be the end of the Arab-Muslim realm. Generals in the Non-Muslim Pact have pledged support pending initial successes over the first four weeks of the silent operation. While no longer needing to claim NEOs, other communication blackouts will continue to shroud the area, like a non-dissipating storm. A rain of so-called counter terror is massing. The Tsunami army will strike soon and hard.

Reports of UFOs are now common over much of Africa and Southern Europe.
