I didn't film it in those colors, but that was the color scheme. It was great, in that it was short. I've experienced 2.6 hour weddings (two of my sisters' Catholic services with mass), my other sister's 45 minute version, but this one was cut to the chase! That's what it should be! Monkeyjack's and Lori's I believe was 33 mintues -- a good wedding, nothing painfully long or long-winded.
The stepfather to the bride sang the Lord's Prayer ... an interesting and 'unique' idea.
The reception was quick -- no dancing, as it was held at the church, the background music was ambiance (rainforst). I got a tip, which was great, as I wasn't expecting it.

After that I met up with Monkeyjack & family and watched Charlie while they bowled. We had a good time, including finding worms and ants. Connie nicely gave Lori tickets to the circus, which she and Jeff would not attended. They seem like good, honest neighbor's with a sense of humor! Later Connie and Jeff walked over to chat. Jeff spoke about a customer who had serious damages done to home and furnishings due to an incompetant (or tired and drunk -- speculative) employeed who maliciously and carelessly damaged unique items in a person's house, installing a piece of furniture. Yikes! He also said that the company, through some nepotism, may very well shield this wrecking ball of a schmuck.
Anyway ... the cake was nice .... photos I hope reveal that and much of it was eaten. I was surprised as Lori and Monkeyjack were cutting the cakes ... they almost couldn't keep up with the demand from a <100 group at the reception. I didn't eat any of the cake, but it was obviously exceptional.
Also funny was the irony of: 3-4 Marks being there, so saying or shouting "Mark" wasn't fruitful for getting one person's attention.
Also, the bride and groom had the first names of myself and ex ... it was, distrubing on my mind, momentarily.
Gradually degenerating into ignorance and complacency.
