War!

I hope this isn't what I think this is. I hope this was just someone trying out their video skills and not trying to make a "controversial" statement like "war is bad." Because I can't get behind that. Because, to quote Hot Shots part Deux, "WAR! It's FAN-tastic!" I really like all the shooting and dying and that stuff, and I think we should have a war whenever possible.

If this really is someone thinking they're making a profound statement with this, almost breaking their arm to pat themselves on the back, it's retarded. It reminds me of those housewife comments on the Donahue show. They stand up and say "I think war is bad" and everyone claps. Then another stands up and says "I'm for oxygen, I think oxygen is good for breathing", and they all clap. In the political world, nobody is arguing that war is good, the one thing both sides agree on is that it must be the last alternative. What IS certain is that Democrats suck at it. Everytime there's a Democrat in the Whitehouse, they try to solve problems with these sneaky little missions that end up with our dead soldiers being dragged through the streets of Iran or Somalia. This desecration demoralizes the entire country and our troops.

The reason Republicans are better at war is because their gameplan is almost always to kick in their F#@*in' front door and push through their country until they relent. The resources are there if a helicopter goes down or a firefight goes badly, there's backup available. People still get killed, but they die with their own, in a proper campaign that affords them the best chance of success.

Yes, war is an unfortunate thing, but I'm glad you're reading this comment in English now instead of German.
