In a podcast it was shared, perhaps wittingly, that the GOP defends property, whereas other groups defend lives. It is a falicy that is shared mostly with the GOP that the right to bear arms, while in the constitution, should extend to all parties including those willing to engage in domestic terrorism. The concept of right to life, death to those taking my guns is beyond an idiocy.
The GOP as of late as never distinguished itself apart from the Fascism that is Trump with idiots-beware self-serving man bent on controlling until his death. Pitted against this is a long-time, should-be the winner Catholic, Biden. His elect everyone different attitude has lent a sneer by all parties, still motivated by sincerity rather than politics playing. The evangelicals still rally around a man, Trump, willing to use sexual assault language, homophobic slurs, targeting non-caucasian latinos, child environmentalists, and those with disabilities.
Our nation can persevere if it grasps the solid truth that this is a secular nation, a blend of nationalities, languages, religions, non-religions, cultures, and histories. We should embrace a fuller understanding of our history the good and the bad, as well as the path forward. There are no safe single religion nations in the world. Americans seeking a Christian nation fail to see/witness Iran, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Sudan, Myanmar, as nation slaughtering those in other groups.
