Man bashing by the women at work is common. "Great", I think ... hours of that stuff!
I didn't shave and my mild scruff was talk, as was a few errors and the non-too-subtle way to explain how to make something. What bothered me, other than the virtual-chimneys, was the "Do you know ... the two unwritten rules?"
Uh, no ... "green perhaps?" How should I know? Best guess ... "soylent green is people"
Stupid question, undeserving of an answer.
Gradually degenerating into ignorance and complacency.

Curse my ambiguities
I read the post and it is difficult to follow, because I didn't use any names. Sorry, but I'll stick with nameless companies to protect me from any disastrous fallout from anyone reading my blog. I look at my stats and I find that there are many people that find my blog, fewer still who read it, and some, whom I don't know, who read it frequently (less than the term "often").
It is not out of the realm of possibility that an employer would find and read my blog and wonder -- "if".

Inter - v
I interviewed with a company today. The Human Resources man is also a district manager. Some of the higher-ups like to talk and he was no exception. While there were many odd things about this man, the most telling was that his pupils never changed. I wonder if he was on something. He showed no signs of being under the influence, but one never knows.
I have a second interview set up with him. I wonder how many others will get this opportunity. I didn't ask about the salary, as that might be rude or telling, especially in a first interview.
I might be just spinning my wheels with the interview, but it's my time I'm wasting, so I'm not putting out anyone else. I like where I work now and there are nice potentials and possibilities and the pay is good, but
I don't like the smoking.
The drive is long, but considering everything, that's just another six hours weekly, so it's basically a nit.
I have the strong feeling that I'll stay happily with the company where I now work and will have spent a few hours with the other company as an excercise in interviewing.
With this little success, I feel that I am getting better at interviewing. Now, if I had more to show and bring into the interview --- therein is the second part. My job now should bring me that if I don't stay with them, which I might ... who knows?

Go back to school!
I got an order yesterday that involved fractions. That isn't bad, but then I had to apply fractions to fractions to fractions ... it was a good mind exercise.
Yes, I would like 1/4 of 1/3 of the whole like this, then 1/8 like this then 3/12 like this , one half like this and add things that don't go on things you eat.
Crazy, I tell you, Crazy!
It all comes from not wanting to buy more than one!
Yeah, I'll have the minivan dooley with side vents and rear spoiler. Come to think of it, put spinners on it and install larger wheels and smaller summer-only tires. I want a woodgrain finish inside and out, with a tropical isle painting on the left and crimson terror on the right, a My Pretty Pony on the hood.
Okay ... that will be $175,000
