retintion

not retention

Hey, hey, you, you ... get off of my lawn!

I was traveling to my walk location when I saw about twelve people, mostly large, waiting on a lawn. That was strange, but then I saw the PTC sign on a post. It was a bus stop. I would have been plenty pissed if bus riders decided that sitting on my lawn and flattening it with their fattening was "reasonable".

Someone left this to view later

I found an ammo case chained to a tree remotely located in a patch of trees next to chest-high grass. It was an interesting find.

odds & ends from today's walk

tree stand
chest-high grass and weeds
septic sign, off the beaten path, of course
small tree marker
purple frame buried in mud
new-looking orange shoes, forgotten
metal frame to something
kite in tree, perhaps more common than I thought
OK, how does a firetruck get to this spot?
Maumee River, not good eating
Um, yeah. I think this is worthless at the time being.
ripped red shirt
Wait til I get my Hanes on the polluter
old wooden stoll/chair discarded and washed in other debris
framework of a barricade hanging in a tree
not much of a shot, but taken through my sunroof while waiting at a light

I know dandelions are weeds, but it has a certain beauty ... as well as an ant shouting, "To infinity and beyond" before using it to fly to find other bugs.

Today was something over ten miles.
