Again I have to say you need to be a justifiable authority in order to preach. I mean, at the very LEAST I would accept this from a regular church-goer. But taking on different roles just to suit the context is... well, disingenuous. When the pastor I drink with every week wouldn't bring himself to say something like that, I hardly think it befalls you to remind us, as if you are the fount of wisdom, morality and altruism, as the preaching implies. As Mikhail Gorbachev once said to Ronald Reagan, "I am not the student, and you are not the teacher." Did I mention that I actually heard Mikhail Gorbachev speak in person at I.U.? Well, I did.
